Pat grew up in the construction trades - his father a mason and his grandfather a general contractor. He started building his own business in construction as a roofing contractor in the South Texas Coastal Bend in 1971, and was in business full-time as a general contractor in Austin from 2001 through 2019.
PJB Contracting is a local, family-owned business, and we pride ourselves in serving our San Antonio community with high qualtiy repair, restoration, and remodeling services. We've used a number of contractors in the past, with mixed results. We found Pat and his company through internet reviews, and Boy! Did we luck out!
This man is prompt, absolutely reliable and far pickier than we were that everything was done absolutely right. Invariably honest and trustworthy, says what he means and means what he says. His subs are long-time personal friend of his, and to a person, were as reliable, fastidious, personable and skilled as Pat is himself. His superintendent Susan was every bit as relentlessly "there" for us, and scrutinizing of detail. The all are

We've had Pat Barnett and his crews to our home many times to make upgrades, repair the messed up things the previous owner did, and for maintenance. Everything from replacing skylights to roofing to taking off wallpaper and popcorn to bathroom remodeling. Pat's pricing is very fair, his crews are super responsible, and the quality is great. I am very picky, as he will tell you, and I am always satisfied with this work. I've had a lot of contractors work for me ONCE, but Pat's the one I turn to time and time again.
