I can not say enough good things about John and his crew. The level of quality, expertiece and overall kindness John and his crew showed my job was second to none. They completed my 3 story townhome repaint in just over a day, and left no detail unfinished. I would absolutely recommend them and I will definitely be using them for my upcoming interior projects.

I hired this company to paint my mothers basement. He gave me a hand written quote. I accepted his offer for the basement job. He then called me and asked to start the next day stating that his outside job was canceled due to rain. He arrived the next day and Called me from her house stating that he underbid the job. I found this to be extremely unprofessional. He walked out with his crew

What a delight to work with Hawthorne Painting! The owner John is very nice and responsive, the crew was amazing, and we are super happy with the work. The fixed and painted our cornice at the third floor, and did all the trim and door. Would definitely use them again!

Hawthorne Painting just finished painting the exterior of my historic townhouse in Queen Village. Stucco, shutters, door,three story house. They finished everything but a few little details in three days, sent a crew of six people each day. All the workers and foremen were terrific, they worked incredibly hard even in the extreme heat this week, were completely professional, and did a stunning job. They cleaned everything up carefully each day and even washed my windows when they were finished. Neighbors and strangers have been stopping by to say how great the house looks and taking pictures. Hawthorne Painting touched up the exterior paint on the front of my house. John gave me the lowest estimate of everyone I contacted, and he was super friendly. His crew did a great job. I was nervous because they came the day before tropical storm Elsa arrived, but everything dried in time to withstand the storm. I would definitely hire Hawthorne again. It felt good to support a local business that provides quality work.

They showed up on time, did a great job & prepped and painted areas other painters had overlooked. They finished in half a day &,CLEANED UP THEIR MESS.

We hired John and his team because we saw they had five stars and they have five stars for a reason!! They are amazing!! John responded to my request for quote quickly and had his team over within a few days. His team did an AMAZING job painting our whole house and even helped match our stain on some woodwork we had redone in the house. They were on time every day and we’re super nice and very professional. They pay amazing attention to detail and fixed a lot of areas on our walls and trim that needed be smoothed out. John and his team were incredible to work with! They did a great job of working around a tight timeline and were able to break up our job in three different buildings across several days to not interrupt the tenants and business in place. They were communicative and easy to work with and did a great job of turning over several apartments and painting several hallways and floors for rental properties we own and manage. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future!

Five stars for Hawthorne Painting! I was driving near my neighborhood when I spotted a sign for this company, and I pulled it up on Yelp as soon as I got home. I sent a request a quote message and ended up chatting with John, the owner, the same day. He stopped by to see my project, sent me a quote, and within days he and his crew were at my house!

Hawthorne Painting is a great company to work with. They have completed 2 projects in our new home. They refurbished our roof deck last summer and just finished a large interior painting projects. Their work is fantastic.
They take great care, do an amazing amount of prep work to ensure a great result, were careful to protect our furniture and artwork, cleaned up each night, arrived on time and were wonderful to work with. John is fantastic. I've hired him twice to paint for me. The first time, I got four quotes for the job. He came in with the most competitive bid by about 20%. He and his team did a great job and finished when they said they would. I hired him for the second job and didn't ask for a quote. I trust him now. Plus, he's a really nice guy. A pro.
