Freedom Contractors was founded in 2007 in the Philadelphia area by Justice Weingart. The company initially did all sorts of painting and carpentry jobs, slowly but steadily growing for the first few years. Starting in 2012 Justice shifted the company's focus primarily to painting. In the beginning of 2015 Freedom Contractors spun off Freedom Painters, to emphasize our concentration on residential interior and exterior painting.
The company now employs four experienced painters and two apprentice painters who are learning to work to our exacting standards. Justice Weingart, Freedom's President and Owner, has over 14 years of experience in painting and carpentry, but as a business owner he has worn many other hats over the years.
He now oversees the paint crews and estimates all jobs in person, and makes sure our customers are well taken care of on every job. Justice firmly believes that making homes beautiful can make life better for those who live in them. So making life a little better for our customers is Freedom Painters' goal for each home we enter.

You should feel great about your home after we've done our job. But it's also important to us that you feel as comfortable as possible while we're working. Our customers love the end result, sure, but they also rave about how we get there! We respond to all requests for estimates within two business hours.

Justice and team were wonderful to work with! We had 3 rooms painted, one of which was a large living room with darkly stained wooden beams. Justice’s quote was the best we got and he and his team worked hard to get everything looking pefectly. They spent extra time on our beams to ensure they came out how we wanted. In the middle of our job, our basement flooded and his team was flexible throughout despite the mess and additional people coming in and out of the house. Extremely clean, friendly, fair, and down to earth team -will definitely hire again!

Freedom Painters took care of a ceiling repair in 3 hours that I had been trying to get done for 6 months! My landlord uses a completely unreliable contractor who promised to do the job repeatedly, and never showed up over 10 separate times. My landlord finally allowed me to hire someone else. I chose Freedom Painters. They came exactly when they said they would and left my floor cleaner than it was before! Paint job is excellent and their crew is extremely friendly. The owner Justice is an expert at his craft. I'm recommending them now to everyone else in my building!!!

Great experience. Job consisted of repainting the entire exterior of my house, including sanding of shingles and repairs to extensive woodpecker damage. Bid was much lower than other companies. And Freedom reduced the price even more without my asking when they found some of the work was not necessary. Despite the low prices, they used premium paints from Ben Moore. Justice the owner and Crew were courteous and professional. They left the job site very neat each day. The work went smoothly. And after the job was over I asked for some extra work, which they did right away. I couldn't be happier

I found Freedom Painters on Angie's List for about 4k of work. Justice's team jumped on my project, worked overtime, and did a clean job. Justice is a gentlemen who is professional, hardworking, and very responsive. He visits the project site a few times to see the progress.
Justice is meticulous at finding good painters who brush and roll the right way. His people are very careful as protecting the ground from splatter. Everyday they vacuum since they understand that people live in their work areas.

Justice and the Freedom Painters team painted six rooms of the house I purchased, shortly before I moved in. They were flexible to work around the scheduling constraints I had, and their paint job was excellent and professional. They were happy to work with me on the accent walls that I wanted, they laid dropcloths everywhere, and they cleaned up very thoroughly when they were done. I would recommend Freedom Painters to everyone in southeastern PA!
