Harrison fence assures us with 5 year warranty for their work but within no time nails are popping out and wood pieces are getting apart. I have requested several times by sending photographs to address the issues but no response at all for many months. Hope they will see this review and respond now.

Unlike some of the negative reviews I’ve read here, my experience with Harrison fence was extremely positive. Orion, the sale person usually answered his phone within three rings and when he didn’t, he responded to my texts or messages promptly. The crew that installed the fence always arrived on time and were very polite, professional and neat. Overall, very pleased with the service, product and installation.

Awful service and communication from this company. They are quick on setting your initial appointment and taking your payment saying if you don't pay the deposit fast you "loose your installation date" claiming they are on "high demand". But after you pay your deposit they disappear, all you get is crickets on the phone and emails. I've been waiting for my fence for 5 months and nothing yet. They won't answer my calls, texts, voicemails or emails.

4. Customer is not important for them.
If you get any of the above service, then feel yourself lucky. I moved to my new home and request a quote. One person (Dave) came and did all measurement. After 3 days he gave estimate to install fence and I confirmed it. I was waiting for the response and the next step. I keep on sending email but no response.
After 45 days, their sales team sent an email that price

Harrison Fence recently did my fence at my new house in Fuquay. They were extremely easy to work with and everyone from the office staff to the installation crews were friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help. Whenever there was a question they did not hesitate to help guide me through it and of course our finished product looks drop dead gorgeous. Hopefully we'll be in this home for a long time but if I ever need another fence they will be the first call I make!

Been close to a year since got quote and made deposit at order time and remaining payment was automatically charge to my credit card at install time. Harrison fence after a 4 month wait delivered part of the fencing, 2 gates are missing and a temporary gate provided. I have been waiting 8 months for the gates, office does not call back and inquiries sent to their website go unanswered. I again left another message at the office. Still no clear resolution at this point.

I would give a negative rating if I could. I can’t speak to their quality of work since it’s still not completed after 4 months of making a pre-payment. But I can certainly say they have the worst communication skills. They are quick to get the sale completed and take your payment, but then good luck on trying to get them on the phone for any communication or information. I called multiple times only to leave voicemail after voicemail. Finally, I walked into their office to have my question answered, which again I got contradictory answers from 2 different people! Do not do business with this company. Our house came with a chain-link fence in the backyard that we wanted removed and a new wood privacy fence put in. The current fence is right against some smaller trees and brush but the salesman for Harrison Fence, Dave Severance, said that was no problem and that they easily could put in a wood privacy fence. We signed a contract with Harrison and gave them a deposit but when the crew came to do the work, they took one look at the site and declared there was no way they could put in a new fence at that site. The crew said that the salesman had lied to us

Try to make contact by phone after you have installed fence. Almost impossible.
I asked for trash can enclosure. But they never got back for weeks. Then they quoted a price double what another person quoted.
They installed our fence but the gate is a disaster. It is kinked and looks terrible. Someone came out the to 'fix' but it still looks terrible. Not covered by warranty because they don't cover 'warping'. Oddly the guy fixed the fixtures that contributed to warping - see attached pictures.
They were meant to stain the fence but who knows when they will turn up

I'm so disappointed with Harrison Fence. The fence is installed over a year ago and there's issues with the gate closing and places we could see it was just a rushed job. What's more disappointing is that we've been trying to schedule a time for them to come out and stain our fence. Although we've signed a contract my husband and I have tried several times to schedule a time for them to come out and finish the job. I like the fence. Long delay between signing K and installation (about three months), due first to COVID related materials delays and then weather. Harrison communicated with me about the delays, returned my calls and were responsive. At first, I was five star happy with the installation. The crew kept the mess on our side of the property line and were able to fill in a gap between the fence and the retaining wall where our dog could have squeezed through with a creative insert that looks nice and seems sturdy. This review would have been a 5 star review if it wasn't for the fact that they insulted my intelligence by telling me that the price of brackets is the same price as the post & cap. They were about to install a post & cap next to neighbor's post & cap and leave a gap in between (on both sides), I asked them why not just attach it to the post that was already there like the rest of the neighbors had done. They had to call the office and they gave the OK to do that, so now the installer had two less holes to dig, and use brackets (I found some online for $1.45 each) instead of two extra posts with

HORRIBLE customer service. My husband and I got a quote from Jenn, their office manager, and decided to proceed with it. I emailed her several times, and she failed to respond, so I called her direct line, and the office numerous times, and they all avoided my calls. A man picked up one of the times I called and I left a message directly with him to get Jenn to contact me back, and still nothing. This company should not be in business treating clients this way. Buyer beware of the bait and switch. Their sales force over promises and the company under delivers. We were promised by the sales team an installation date the same day as our neighbors. We were assured that because we were purchasing a fence that is always in stock and the crew would be here anyway so it would be no trouble at all for the installation to be scheduled for the same day. Very satisfied with the service and installation. When they had to postpone the installation date by a week due to the days of heavy rains our area experienced, they kept me posted and came promptly on the new date. I had outlined the area I wanted to have fenced in, and they simplified my plan without making a significant difference, which saved me almost $200. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

They never got back in touch with me when I needed to change my install time that they changed. The week they changes my schedule time I had to fly to NY to move my daughter into her dorm. No one from the company ever followed up with me and no one ever answered the phone. Guess what? My daughter had to move into her dorm without her mother. Thank her their kids didn't have to move into their dorms without their parents.
Three pieces were left off of the truck. Workers waited (and wasted my time) from 11am until 3:30pm for the other pieces of the fence to arrive. Harrison fence told

I contacted Harrison Fence on May 15. I told them I would like my gate changed out to a 5 ft gate as the 4 ft gate is not wide enough. I sent a photo as they requested. They said it can't be done. I sent other photos and spoke to Jen who is the office manager. I called several times and have sent emails to the company. I finally got a quote for the replacement gate. I have called and left messages. The voice mail states they will get back within 24 hours. It has now been 3 weeks and no one has called or sent me an email text. I actually spoke to someone last week and they said leave a message

Update: 2 business days later, they quickly fit us in for fixing the issue and we now have a beautiful, excellent fence. I appreciate that HF did the right thing and fixed it promptly at no charge. Despite this learning experience for the install team, I'd still recommend them.

I have similar problem, we had fence installed 5 years ago, the 9*9 pole was broken in recent days, the fence is leaning one side seriously. I called harrison fence on Monday, and the lady asked me to send photos by email, I tried to call Harrison fence again for 3 days after sent email, then nobody pick up phone, left voice mail, nobody call back...

They did the fence and did a really nice job , about two a half years now they came back and added another section a few months later and I told them the gate latches get stuck a lot can they check . Honestly that side of the fence we barely use . Well we tried to get out of the fence the other day and we couldn't . So my daughter called . Then I called and asked what's up ? Just fix it , like thousands of dollars later . They commented we are out of warranty , did I ask for anything for free but I did ask for a phone call from the owner twice (nicely ) . FIRST, My fence is gorgeous and was installed professionally, promptly and by people who knew what they were doing and who were also incredibly respectful of my time and my neighbor's convenience.
I have only one small complaint, and they acknowledged the miscommunication when I addressed it with them. We had already paid our deposit and we got a call looking for that deposit weeks later. It's a fencing company's job to build a quality fence to the customer's specifications. I can't comment too much on the first part since we had the fence for just a couple years, but so far, so good on that part except for a few missing screws.
However, Harrison Fence failed miserably to build it to our specifications - namely, where to put it. We used Harrison fence to install a 6 foot tall white vinyl privacy fence in our yard. We were extremely satisfied with the process from start to finish. It was fairly painless to get someone out to give us a quote and then get on the schedule. The workers arrived on time and did a great job. Once complete they cleaned up the yard and we are happy with the workmanship on the fence. We have two very small dogs and were worried about gaps between the bottom of the fence and the ground, but the guys did a great job with that as well. The pricing was highly competitive with other companies in the area

Run from these guys. They were referred to my by my builder, and I've seen some of their work. First impression was pretty good. Someone came out and measured. That's where the good ended. Essentially, they do not do custom work. They say they do, but my experience was different. I wanted something just a little nicer than the typical fence you can get from a big-box store. I was dealing with people who had the same last name as the name of the company, but I have no idea if they were owners. They would disapear from a conversation for days (sometimes a week) at a time. Recommended by our neighbor and the whole experience was nothing less than exceptional. Jeff who came out to do the bid was so knowledgeable and assisted us in picking the right fence for our animals. The interaction with the ladies in the office has equally been pleasant and professional. The crew that came out to put up the fence was just as professional and did a phenomenal job.
