Check the filter(s) and replace/clean them if needed - if dirty they may be blocking the air from flowing. The size is usually printed on the filter and can be purchased at a local home improvement stores or ordered and shipped online. Be sure to buy a couple of extra to have replacements readily available.

Choosing Reitz Heating and Air was the best decision I made for my home remodel. EJ, the owner, and Carlos did an amazing job. As with all home remodel projects, I always get multiple quotes - and I did that for my HVAC project too. I only had an original 1970's heater in my house and needed quite a bit of work done to get the house comfortable in an energy-efficient way. Our air conditioner was twenty-one years old, quit, and was not repairable. We got multiple bids on replacing it but didn’t find the right fit until we called Reitz Heating and Air. EJ Reitz is local to our area, is extremely knowledgeable, and passionate about what he does. He scheduled us as soon as we accepted his bid. We thought we had to have our AC replaced (because we were told that by two other companies/techs) until EJ shows up and fixes it in less than an hour. Both EJ and Carlos were extremely professional and are totally committed to quality and efficiency. We will add to our existing AC some mini splits because it's so affordable with these guys. I saw many, many people recommending EJ on NextDoor, so I went ahead and gave him a call. Our house is older and only had a wall unit for AC. We knew we needed central AC for the coming summer. We met with about 5 different companies. EJ was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly to us. We had central heating and previous ductwork, so I wanted to utilize existing ducts. He didn't try to add more vents or ductwork and I liked that. A couple companies wanted to rip the house apart.

I called EJ Reitz on a very hot evening, and he came out early the next morning to take care of me. Because it was during a hot spell, no other company even returned by call until two days later. He was very pleasant and extremely fair with his rates. He repaired the problem within 30 minutes. I've had other HVAC companies rip me off in the past, but Mr. Reitz was very honest. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Called EJ based on rave reviews from neighbors on Next Door. Our A/C stopped working suddenly in the middle of a big heat wave. Left a message for EJ and he called back within a couple hours, gave a possible diagnosis, a quote, and said he'd stop by the next day between some other clients in the area. All other big HVAC companies were booked out for at least a week. EJ was prompt, polite, and spot on with the problem and the price. He also was very receptive to our COVID safety requests. Call EJ and you won't regret it.

I don't usually review on yelp but for this business I just had to. EJ came to my house and checked out what was wrong with my AC. Having our AC fixed was very important since I have a toddler and the heat is no joke. He was very knowledgeable and very nice guy. He knew what he as doing and was answering all of our questions.He got our AC going in less than 1 hour! Call him and you will not regret. Don't waste your money on other places. I had 4 companies come out to fix my AC. I had to go thru the Home Warranty and that was a disaster. Because they had no idea what they were doing and ... made it worse. Mixed refrigerants and told me I needed an new unit which would cost 6k. All of them told me that. I have a 1200sq ft house. I called EJ hoping he was available and he cam out right away. It took him an hour to fix what took 4 techs 2 weeks to damage. He also came out that night even though he was really really booked and charged me less that all 4 screw up techs charged and he helped me navigate the paperwork to have
