We pride ourselves in being professionals, dedicated to protecting the beauty and health of the properties entrusted in our care. Our highly trained staff follows ISA (International Society of Arborculture) standards and practices to ensure that your property maintains not only its beauty, but its health as well.
All Estimates are FREE of charge reguarding tree work. The only time we charge is when a Certified Arborist comes out to do an formal tree evaluation. An evaluation is a formal write up or assessment of a tree or number of trees on a property that may or may not result in any further tree services to be performed.
If a tree must be removed, a resident home owner should rely on professional tree services that have the proper experience, equipment, and are insured to handle tree removals. Tree removal is a talent and specialized skill that tree climbers take years to achieve. Although tree removal is the last resort, there are circumstances where it is necessary.
Crown Cleaning a tree involves pruning the deadwood, diseased, and dying limbs out of the canopy of a tree. This type of pruning is extremely beneficial for the health and promotes longevity for a tree. Crown Thinning a tree involves lightly pruning the interior limbs of at tree canopy. Generally, this is done to achieve more sunlight on a customer's lawn, or to prevent storm damage.
Often the soil our trees are planted in, is of poor quality. Deep Root Feeding adds nutrients to the soil that the tree needs to be the healthiest tree possible. In natural forest environments, soil nutrients are constantly replenished by decaying organic matter from leaves and needles, but sometimes even they need a boost.

You don't need to look any further, hire this company! I inquired about a tree that was leaning towards my house, and that same day Steve came out and gave me quote at a very fair rate. His crew is professional, efficient and they do a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I wasn't pressured into spending more money than what I had budgeted, and I will be calling them for any future work I may need done.

Quality workmanship and friendly people fist post was last year , new post June 14,2021 , I gave Addison another job , much bigger , outstanding work again . I would not ever look for anyone BUT Addison to do my trees, they are the best, wife said it looks like they were never here , cleaned up .They came on time , did the job fast and made should the structure near the trees never had a leaf or branch tough it . Addison did every thing I asked and I'm not easily to please and I'm more then happy with them , great job guys thank you !!!!!!!!!!!

I found out about Addison tree service through Oakland township. They use Addison frequently for the township parks. I received a couple of quote from other tree services, Steve beat them hands down. The work was professional, the cleanup was first rate as well. I highly reccomend them.

These guys are awesome. They are super knowledgeable and offer great advice for all your tree questions and needs. They don't try to push you into work you don't need and offer competitive pricing.
They go above and beyond as far as expectations as well. They get right back to you with an estimate and show up on time for the job. The work we had done was extremely thorough and they cleaned up better than anyone I've used before. I can't wait to have them back in the fall to finish up my oaks and elms. My yard looks amazing. Definitely give Steve a call you won't regret it!

I give Steven Boersma (owner) and his crew 5 stars for the huge amount of work they completed on my site. He responded to my request for a quote quickly and thoroughly explained exactly how he was going to accomplish this job. The crew was very diligent and careful to chop down, shred and haul away 15 of my massive poplar trees while working under brutal conditions. They were careful and respectful of my property and even the final clean up was impressive.

We had the Addison Tree Service folks out for some serious tree trimming around our home in mid-March this Spring (think cold weather). They did an awesome job, and did it fast, efficiently and safely! The job had several very large (20" dia.) and high (40' up) branches removed that were hanging over our roof and posing a safety hazard to our home. it was fascinating and amazing to watch them work as they removed these heavy boughs & branches without dropping any debris or damaging items on the roof! Steve, Ryan and the excellent crew of Addison Tree Service recently did a superb job of making our 1/2 acre mess of a woods look like a park. They removed vine and all unwanted vegetation in two days at a very reasonable price. Communication was excellent and they preserved the lawn which they needed to drive over to access the property. We now have a very lovely park in our backyard and all the neighbors who can also see it from their homes love it as well.

I had Addison Tree do a very difficult removal on a large oak tree, several smaller trees and some ground clearing. The crew was excellent and very professional.
