JP's is teaming up with the Native Plant Society of Fredericksburg, Texas to introduce a tree planting program to the Texas Hill Country! Our goal is to focus on planting native trees in an effort to restore our declining urban forest. For each tree planted, JP's will donate a sapling to the Native Plant Society.
Certified arborists are individuals who have met specific standards within the tree care industry to prove their knowledge in the field of arboriculture. With a Certified Arborist on staff, we ensure that each tree receives the proper care and attention. A certified arborist is required to complete a number of hours in the field before passing an examination through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).
Our many years of experience along with our mastery of tree science makes us a leading competitor in our field.

Our urban forest is in decline due to poor soil quality, population growth, and continued construction. To avoid unnecessary tree removals, we implement tree preservation programs in an effort to help save our urban forest. Tree preservation involves maintaining proper tree nutrition and fertilization.
When a tree is in decline, we tend to look up to find the issue when it is often right beneath our feet. Soil compaction and improper tree depth are often the "root" of the problem. Soil compaction typically occurs from excessive foot or vehicle traffic in the root zone, but it can also be caused by machinery or livestock.
JP's has teamed up with the Native Plant Society of Fredericksburg, Texas to bring a tree planting program to Gillespie county and the surrounding areas. Our goal is to plant 200 trees in Fredericksburg and the surrounding hill country. For each native tree that JP's plants, we will donate a 5-gallon native tree from the list below to the Native Plant Society.
