The story about Pacific West Roofing starts way back even when Brian and Stan were classmates in high school and always talked about wanting to start a business together. In 1980, they began that quest with a few small jobs and then the big break they needed came along. Stan's neighbour gave them the go ahead to re-roof a very nice home in the neighbourhood!

I just had a new shingle roof completed, replacing my old wood shake roof. I ended up going with Malarkey Vista shingles. The job took about 5 1/2 days. I will say that all of the Pac West people I dealt with were professional, courteous and responsive from the sales rep, the work crew and the office folks. All great to work with. The materials and workmanship seem great and I heartily recommend using them for your next roof.

Our roof was replaced in 2 days. Each day when the crew was done they came through and made sure any garbage and nails were picked up.
The company was able to do our job during the week of vacation I had from work which was really convenient since I work from home.

Excellent work done by the crew, the production team, and the whole organization on my residential roof replacement and attic ventilation. The communication from start to finish was transparent, detailed, and fast. The professionalism by every person involved - all fantastic. When got quotes from several companies on installing a metal roof, but Bryan was the only one who walked around the house with me explaining the quirks of our house (inadequate vents, a weird dip on the garage roof, etc), and then put the fixes necessary into the quote he wrote up. The price we were given wasn't the lowest but it was comparable and Bryan's knowledge and honesty made Pacific West the obvious choice. As the old roofing was being stripped off it became clear that the 50 year old plywood wasn't in the best condition and we decided that since this was the last roof we'd be putting on

Phil and Brent was great to work with and Rafa who did the metal roof installation did a superb job. Such a hard worker! If your looking into doing a metal roof instal, these are the guys. Can’t speak highly of Rafa’s craftsmanship. Our roof was pretty tricky too due to all the different pitches (angles) going on. Him and his team were super professional. Can’t recommend this company enough.

From the quote, to the follow up, to the paperwork, to the front office, to Stan and Brent who attended to every detail this was an extremely positive experience. We recently had our 30 year old roof replaced by Pacific West Roofing. They did an excellent job from the bid to cleanup and final inspection. Special care for surrounding plants and fixtures plus attention to detail was part of our experience. Excellent communication as the job progressed aided by ongoing photos and drone shots let us observe any damaged plywood that needed replacing. Had a leak during the heavy rainy season, called several companies with long lead times or non-interest. On a neighbors referral I called PWR and Stan came out himself and had it fixed in no time! I was very impressed at the level of customer service. I also needed to have all my attic and roof venting redone. PWR did it quickly and with no hassle on my end. Highly recommend!!

We recently had two skylights replaced on our roof. Cost of the project was ~$1200. Their scheduling service and technical installation was fine...no issues here.
My issue however, is the unsightly cosmetic outcome of their work when viewed from inside of the house; ragged drywall pieces/edges at the base of the skylight window...some even encroaching onto the skylight itself. I called PWR to notify them & request interior cleanup/touchup and was adamantly told this was not something they will do (apparently the 'cleanup' claim in their job scope only refers to the outside

I absolutely LOVE my roof. It is truly beautiful. Stan from Pacific West Roofing spent the time with me at the start of the process, going over all of the little details that would really make my new roof pop!

We got bids from many highly recommended roofers, most of which we researched here. When we met Brian Jarvis, the owner, we immediately liked him. He discussed our options at length, after inspection, he even suggested we could probably get a few more years on our existing roof.
Pacific West Roofing was not the low bid, they were not the high bid. They were classically in the middle. The crew were great and friendly, they did tear off and had installed 2/3rds of the roof on the first day. The second day, actually a few hours, they finished the roof and all the extra flashing. Fast and accurate

Stan is just amazing. He really cares about doing a good job. He went way above and beyond the call of duty to help us find the source of water dripping onto the ceiling tiles in our small office. Stan had repaired a leak around the drains in the roof in May. In June when it got hot our tenants called and said there were new leaks that we figured were due to condensation. We were ready to go out of the country on vacation but called Stan to see what he could do. Stan determined it was not the roof but an HVAC problem so since we were gone he took it upon himself to call an HVAC company and schedule

Okay, here's the bottom-line on PWR. Core values of excellence, respect and knowledge are far above any other roofer that I had obtained bids. Stan came out and did the initial subjective overview and estimate, and I felt I had known the guy for years. Why? because his affect is one that speaks of honesty. I received a bid from this company, along with 3 other competitive bids. When I met to discuss the bid, in more detail, which was vastly different in approach from my previous bids, I was told that "we want your business even though this is not the approach that is recommended".
Unlike the other companies, they did not perform a core sampling to find out how many layers were underneath (2); they were simply going the cheap and easy route and throw on another layer which would have been too heavy.
