The plumbing system in your home should operate without you realizing that it's even there. However, sometimes you may have to deal with broken pipes, leaks on water meters, or faulty installation. If you face any of these plumbing problems MT Dunn Plumbing should be your go-to place for any repair needs.
As temperatures reach freezing, close all air vents and other openings in the crawl space under your house. Insulate pipes that are prone to freezing (ex: pipes near an outside wall), in unheated areas of your home or that are exposed (ex: outdoor spigots). In an emergency, several layers of newspapers or rags can be used for temporary insulation.

I contacted Mike on his web site help request page to have a knocking sound fixed. He was on vacation and still got back to me right away. He replied telling it sounded (by my description) like a failed PRV and he would be back from vacation on Monday and would contact me then.
On Monday, Mike called and we set a time for his son Irich to come out and fix the PRV. Irich showed up right on time and made quick work of fixing my knocking sound by replacing the PRV. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and did a very nice job on the valve replacement.
I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend

When our pipe burst out front the day before Thanksgiving, we thought we had no hope of a good holiday..not only did Irich fix the pipe the same day, he was on time, professional, and very helpful. He saved our Thanksgiving! I highly recommend MT Dunn Plumbing for emergency plumbing services... really they were the heroes of the day.

I discovered my water heater gushing water at 10:30pm and called MT Dunn based on the NextDoor reviews and had a new water heater within 12 hours. I called Mike first thing in the morning and he shuffled around his schedule to accommodate my need. The tech that came out was friendly, on time and explained everything he had to do well. I am very thankful for the quick turnaround ! A 40-gal gas heater, with install and removal of the old one came to $1564 -- pricy, but it was done quickly and I'm happy with the result.

As avid DIY people, we always try to do the job ourselves first. When this didn't work out for us, I gave Mike a call. He gave me a bunch of tips and tricks to try, and said I could give a call back to schedule if I couldn't figure it out. We kind of laughed about this, as it was so unexpected that he didn't try to book a spot on our schedule right away, but appreciated that he really upped our DIY plumbing knowledge first. We did, in the end, schedule with him, and they did an excellent job on the work we needed done in our aging home.

Only plumbing company that would come out that day. Irich got the leak fixed on our water heater expansion tank. He is very good and knowledgeable. We're going to have MT Dunn install one of their water heaters in a week or two when our floor gets replaced. I recommend MT Dunn plumbing highly

My 'old' (3 year old) water heater was no longer able to heat, and I called to have it fixed. Dunn told me that it's a Home Depot 'special' model that's not worth fixing, and he explained how to return it to Home Depot for a refund (so nice to get $800 back for the piece of garbage!). He then installed a good water heater, for a very reasonable price. I really appreciated being told over the phone how to check problems with the old water heater (he trusted me to be somewhat handy and able to drain the water heater to check for sediment, and turn on and off various valves). I can't believe how fortunate I was to find M.T. Dunn Plumbing. i would give him 10 stars if I could. Mike and team exceeded my expectations for our master bath remodel which included and additional sink, custom shower, and steam generator installation. Really happy. Had an outside faucet leaking badly and needed someone fast. Called a lot of plumbers (20+). Either they wanted $350 just to show up, or next availability was 1-3 weeks out. Finally got hold of MT Dunn. Plumber showed up within 2 hours. Tough job (siphon faucet). He finished in under 2 hours, installed a nice faucet, and all for under $300. I'm adding them to my contacts list and will call them first next time I need a plumber.

Here is what happened. I called them stuck with no hot water. I have never touched a gas heater and I didnt want to take chances being also a rental.
They sent a worker who did not know what he was doing. He tried lighting the burner and did not succeed to have it working. They wanted $125 for just coming over, I paid them $100 as they said my heater was gone.
Turns out my heater is absolutely perfect but M T Dunn does not know how to light a water heater and I found out the easy way yesterday morning.
I called their boss this afternoon and after explaining the whole story, he said that this is

I called this company for a second opinion on my water heater. He came out and was up front no fooling around, they got to the point and found the problem fast. I sense a lot of experience with the tech who came over. I think he was the actually owner. Didn't try to sell me a new water heater like the other guy did when it was just a simple fix.
