House of Values is one of those hidden gems. We recently discovered them as they are one of the few furniture stores that carries furniture from a certain manufacturer in the Bay area. Through them, we were able to order a bedroom set at a great price. They kept us informed every step of the way from order, to shipment arrival, to delivery. Their delivery team is efficient and careful when moving our items upstairs.
We did have a manufacturer issue with the nightstands we ordered and HOV was very accommodating working with us to get a resolution that kept us as satisfied customers. A big thanks

The salespeople here are quite frankly super rude! The salesperson (tall, thin, white female) was super annoyed when we asked for help. The owner was trying to help, but she cut her off in front of us (customers) and was quite aggressive. I don't care if the prices are better than anywhere else! I will go to Flegel's, Macys, etc! Not OK with horrid customer service exemplified by that salesperson.

We moved to Roseville, CA and haven't found anyone remotely close to the service and value we experience via House of Values, so we organize our "wants" (getting pretty good at this) and work with Nancy's Team over email or the phone. If we need to choose fabrics, it's our worth time to make the drive to San Mateo.
When it's time to pick up our order...we're saving so much money *and* getting such quality furniture...I rent a trailer and go pick it up. I have zero regrets, because of the price and quality. It's also nice to see Nancy and her team's

Let me start with the punchline: Nancy and House of Values is awesome. Their showroom is hugely understated but the folks here punch waaayyyyy above their weight class. I could write a really long review explaining how disappointing the various places from where I've purchased furniture have been. But all you need to know is that Nancy went above and beyond to give me a great price and ensure the quickest delivery possible cross-country and mid-pandemic. The experience wasn't without its hiccups, but she made things right. Buy your furniture here, end or story.

I ordered a couch right before the Covid hit and all I can say is House of Values was the perfect place to buy a couch from. Everything was delayed but they kept me informed the whole time.
When the couch arrived, the delivery was on time, the guys were incredibly careful with bringing it into the house and removing all protective coverings. The couch itself was just as ordered, fabric perfect, workmanship excellent and it is gorgeous.
The staff answered all my questions, we went over every aspect of what I was ordering to make sure the communication was clear and precise. The best thing of all

I was sent to Sabrina through an interior designer friend. I understand the process of custom furnishing so before I went into the store, I did a lot of online work to get an idea of what style and price range fit my tastes. I scheduled an appointment and Sabrina walked me through the steps and showed me many different manufacturers. I went to work and decided on a couple of companies and pieces of furniture. Got a couple of pieces of small furniture here - a love seat and some side tables to fit in my walk-in main room area. The customer service was great for me! Granted, when I went in, it was mid-morning and not too busy. I found what I was looking for and was in and out of there faster than I thought I'd be.

I walked in here last week in search of a new dining table, sideboard, and bed. Our neighbor told us they had good deals and that it was a good place to shop. Anyway, when I walked in, there was a female employee sitting down at their work area and she looked up and didn't greet me...not even a head nod or a smile. Okay, for a small furniture store in the suburbs, I think it wouldn't kill you to greet your customers.
As I began to look around, there was another employee who appeared to be busy but again, no greeting. There were other customers in the store who were casually dressed

I worked with Kim on ordering my new dining table. Very friendly and helpful. Table was very reasonably priced. Quoted for an 8-week lead time, it was ready in 3 weeks! Price included delivery to my condo in San Francisco. Delivery men were professional and friendly. The table is absolutely gorgeous. From start to finish, a very positive experience.
