Altar Tree service was responsive and prompt. The estimated fee was reasonable for the work done. The boss worked hard to accommodate my timeline. The crew showed up when promised and was impressive with regard to their work ethic. They were quick but thorough, pleasant to be around, intelligent with their communications, and went above and beyond to complete the job.

I was very happy to find this company. I had previously worked with a company I liked and trusted but a retirement brought about a need for a change. Happily, one of the Altar co-owners worked for a long time with my previous company so I felt confident using them from the start. I moved to a new house where the trees had been neglected for a long time. Altar came out to help with an urgent need quickly in the spring and then did much needed TLC on 5 trees recently when it was the right time. They worked very hard, used techniques that were good for my trees, did an amazing job on clean up

We hired Altar Tree Service to take down 2 large Willow and 1 large Mimosa tree and to raise the canopy of another. They did a wonderful and efficient job and I would recommend them to everyone. I thought the price they quoted was pretty fair but even after all that work, they paid for and planted a Merlot Redbud tree for us! Great company!

We just moved into our first house and needed 3 trees taken out and a bunch of trimming. They came out and did a phenomenal job, not only did they take out the three Trees, grind the stumps & trim everything we asked but when they left you couldn't even tell that they were here. I highly recommend them.

Great service. Carmen was quick to respond to my quote request (faster than others I found on Yelp). He set appointment and was here on time and very friendly. We even altered the plan and he took down a big shrub and ground that up as well for a very reasonable charge. I highly recommend this company and my only regret is I didn't call them years ago to remove the stump.

They came out and quickly took down 6 large Fir trees that were too close to the house to try to do myself. They dropped all six the same direction and cleaned up the area really well. We definitely appreciate the added sunlight and peace of mind knowing those large trees will not fall on the house. I will recommend their services to anyone needing quality work!

I got a quote from Will. When he came out to my fathers house, he had a beard that screamed lumber jack. At that point, I knew I could trust their work. The price was lower than what I was expecting so we did the deed. Bottom line. The tree is gone, the trunk is gone. They ground that trunk down to wood chips. And they wore flannel. My house is still standing. Heck yeah! They could cut my wood any day.
