Automation Solar was founded in 2007 on the simple premise that helping the planet can be as simple as changing some energy generation to meaningful clean and green energy from the sun. Photovoltaic and thermal systems today are commonplace using known proven, high quality components. As new alternative energies become viable in California, Automation Solar will offer these as energy solutions as well.
From relatively small off-grid battery-tied installations to large 25+ kilowatt commercial grid-tied power generation we have a solution for your goal of reducing energy cost and carbon footprint. Please see our residential brochure for more information. With a variety of options for both home water heat and pool heating we can save you money and reduce your electrical and/or gas bills.
By far the most popular options for residential and commercial applications are mono- and poly-crystalline photovoltaic panels. Photovoltaic cells are constructed using silicon doping and lithography techniques similar to those used to build microprocessors. Typically mono-crystalline PV cells produce more energy than poly-crystalline designs, but are often more expensive to produce.
We offer photovoltaic panels from a variety of top manufacturers specializing in mono-crystalline and poly-crystalline designs. Some manufacturers are now offering thin-film designs as well. Some of our recommended brands are Evergreen Solar, ET Solar, Kyocera (Panasonic), Samsung, Sanyo, Sharp, Solar Power Inc, SunGen, SunTech, and Trina Solar.
