Services
As the cost of solar has come down in price and utility prices have increased by 5% or more annually, solar is financially a viable option. Knowing that the Federal Tax Credit may go away, right now is a great time to go solar. Solar will benefit the environment, while giving you control of your energy cost for the next 25 or more years!
With the utilities issuing rolling blackouts here in Sonoma County, batteries offer energy independence. Batteries can be designed to backup critical circuits in the house or can oftentimes provide energy backup to an entire household. An additional benefit to batteries, is that you can store power during the day and sell it back to the utility company in the evening during peak hours when energy is most expensive.
If you have solar and you need a new roof, trust the professionals to make sure your system is reinstalled correctly. Here are the services we provide to navigate this process. String inverters are complex mechanical devises and are susceptible to failure over time. When a string inverter fails, it affects the production of all solar panels on one string or all those feeding the inverter.
So far it has worked as expected without any glitches or service calls. We are very happy with the system and FRS in general. Since they are a small-sized family business, I do wonder if they be around to address warranty issues in 10-20 years. You could ask this about any installer, of course. The solar industry sees a lot of churn.
