We are huge fans of Solar Works. They came highly recommended from friends who installed a system more than 20 years ago. Despite the hurdles thrown at them by the COVID-19 pandemic and this year's spate of wild fires, they came through for us with an amazing solar/battery system that's already saving us money. They listened to our current needs and future plans and built a system that will take care of us well into the future. We'd been reliant on propane for our heating and domestic hot water ... and now we're producing enough energy for the new electric heating and hot water

My wife and I recently had Solar Works install a solar system at our home in Occidental, CA. From the first contact we had with their sales representative, through the installation and post installation period, we found the Solar Works representatives to be extremely knowledgeable, courteous and outstanding workers. There were a few unusual issues that had to be addressed that required some creativity and the participation of a professional electrician. The coordination between the electrician and the Solar Works personnel went very smoothly and the job was completed expeditiously. We were 100

We've been a Solar Works customer for over 15 years. SW just completed installation of a second, upgraded system on our Sebastopol house roof, to replace the smaller system they installed in 2002. You will not find a more expert, informed, helpful, environmentally savvy and caring solar company anywhere. In addition to the installation and maintenance of our solar array the folks at Solar Works have answered many technical questions for us over the years, as well as making us aware of tax benefits and other money-saving opportunities related to our alternative energy

Anytime I deal with contractors I except a number of things to go wrong: broken promises, lack of communications, missed deadlines, invoice inflation, etc.
None of that happened with our Solar Works PV project.
1) Exceptional installation quality. My only (minor) compliant is a little sawdust that wasn't swept up in my garage. The county inspector had a different interpretation of a few guidelines and although Solar Works didn't agree, they readily made the changes. (The changes were items SW and I thought were redundant or irrelevant and therefore unnecessary.) Other than that

These folks are a rare breed these days. SERVICE. Remember that from the 'olden days'? We've not even got our panels up yet and we're already thrilled with solar works. They do what they say they will do when they say they are going to do it. We've been given excellent guidance to make smart choices and felt zero pressure. They are likable, energetic, attractive (who doesn't appreciate that!) enthusiastic, passionate and know their stuff. They provided an excellent education, and coordinated with our roofing company. We have been marinating on solar for 14 years and

We installed our 7.5kw system more than 10 years ago. After the second year our PG&E bill started going up. By year four we were very upset. Our installer had sold out to another company. They came out and started taking about all kinds of fixes and theoretical solutions that cost lots of money. Instead, I called SolarWorks. They came out and tested the panels and found that half had gone bad. They contacted the manufacturer and not only got the defective panels replaced but all of them at no cost to us. They also recommended some inexpensive modifications that greatly improved our

I found a sticker with Solar Works contact information on the solar water heating system at the house in Bodega Bay I bought in 2011. Called them up for service, and owner admitted that he installed the system 12 years ago but he no longer does solar heating systems and is unwilling to come out and check it out. I asked for reference to others and if he can give me some guidance to try and fix it myself but he did neither. Today, while trying to fix it myself I peeled his sticker and found another one under it (BES). I called them up and they are very willing to service my system and know the
