Services
When solar systems produce more power then the home needs, this power can be stored in a homeowners on-site batteries. This power can then be used in the evening, when the solar is no longer operating. Back-up Power: Storage systems provide a home with power when the grid is down from power failure or fire mitigation.
Jeff graduated in 1984 from UCSB with a BA in Business Economics and a minor in Computer Sciences. For the next 14 years Jeff pursued a career in sales, marketing and project management with a multi-billion dollar computer company, selling and installing computer systems for community banks. His primary focus was reducing and eliminating the excessive amount of paper produced by financial institutions.
Synergy maintains all licenses and bonding requirements to do work in the State of California. In addition, Synergy maintains $1 million in general liability insurance. Synergy Solar & Electrical Systems, Inc. complies with all OSHA Regulations to protect you, our workers, and the environment.
North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) is the "gold standard" for PV installation certification. Designed to raise industry standards and promote consumer confidence, NABCEP offers certification and certificate programs to renewable energy professionals throughout North America.

Just added battery storage and a smart switch to our solar system, which will enable us to avoid future PG&E power outages. Jeff, Michael, Justin, Pete and the rest of the Synergy team were professional and efficient, just as they were a few years back when they installed our rooftop solar. Highly recommended!

Our whole experience with Synergy Solar was wonderful, from the very first phone call to the installation and follow-up waiting for PG&E to give permission to turn on (which was quick). Jeff and Mike listened carefully, explained well, and designed a system just right for us. The install team was friendly, neat, and excellent in explaining both the installation process and how to operate the system. As an avid DIY'er, I found their attention to detail matched my own.
I wish I could give them 6 stars. I highly recommend Synergy Solar.

Synergy Solar did an awesome job for us in setting up solar panels in 2015 then adding in a Sonnen solar powered battery in 2018. Jeff did a great job for us in scoping out the panels and the battery based upon our usage and needs. Mike got everything up and running smoothly. They are both easy to work with and good guys.

In a word, Excellent !! Start to finish, they did a great job for me. Details: I got three quotes and Synergy was very competitive. Clear explanations up front, and once I decided to go with them, scheduling and coordination with the contractor and electrician were handled very smoothly. (The solar was part of a much larger remodel. ) The actual installation was fast and efficient, and their crew were pleasant and helpful. Follow up with PG&E was done quickly and I am up and running. FYI, I have a 20 panel 5.8kw system cranking out free electrons. Time to start thinking about an electric car. Screw

Synergy is a really well run and long-time established local business. I used SCEIP and was hand held by Michelle through that process. Michael, Chas, and Marvin did really clean, quality work. There is a certain look to well planned and executed projects like this and this is CLEAN and PROFESSIONAL. Jeff, who bid the job, met or exceeded all aspects of the contract. New install so can't quite speak to reliability and I am confident if any issues arise Synergy will deliver.
