Joel Snell, Founder of Advanced Safe & Lock, Joel has more than 25 years' experience in the locksmith trade. He is considered a master locksmith with extensive skills and experience in antique, unique and unusual keys and locks. Joel retired in 2019. John Mallette, President, has nearly 30 years' experience as a master locksmith.

Had what I thought was a simple key cutting for duplicating key from a thermostat lockbox. After going to 5 places including the major big box hardware stores, all unable to cut key I was referred to Advanced where I was greeted right away in a friendly manner and they, too, were challenged by the unusual key. They felt determined not to frustrate me further and milled a key so I now have 3 keys. They also priced me so reasonably and with a smile and a handshake. Not many places you see counter service done so right!

I was locked out of my house. Another company had come and said the lock would need to be drilled out. I called Advanced and Dave showed up within 25 minutes. He had me in the house within 3-4 minutes without damaging the lock. He was friendly and professional. They also charged less than the first company.

I called about this old wooden cutlery display box that I accidentally jammed the lock on by using the wrong key. I think it was my mother's parents set so I was bummed about it. John and John looked it over and said we can get that working and they did. These gentlemen are awesome for their quality service and fair pricing.
