Kuchar is a boutique interior design studio located in Chicago specializing in commercial, residential, and hospitality design. Every project and every client is unique. Services
Our commercial experience spans office design, showroom design, restaurant design, student housing, multi-family and specialty education. The common theme through all is a unique design tailored specifically to each client. Soft archways, pale pinks and punches of copper make up the design for this Chicago women's boutique.
At Kuchar, we value a culture of inclusiveness, open mindedness and design exploration. Inside the office, we promote a "no rules" approach to interior design, giving our design process the freedom to explore. Outside the office, we enjoy visiting Chicago's many restaurants and cultural sites. We also enjoy exploring the new cities which our project work takes us to.

Working with Kuchar Studio was a dream. They invested significant time and energy into understanding not only our needs but our brand and ethos. The kickoff workshop laid the groundwork for a smooth design process though, to be expected, changes came up along the way but they handled with flexibility, understanding, and compromise. The process was ideal throughout—great communication, collaboration, and hands-on development and the end result is just spectacular. KucharStudio is responsible for my dreamy Logan Square worker's cottage renovation. I hired Kuchar Studio to design Ampersand Cowork, a shared workspace in Logan Square. She was AMAZING to work with. She was spot on about every aspect of the design. When people visit the space they are so complementary from the aesthetic to the lighting and acoustics. She was also great about working in my budget, knowing where to splurge and when to go cheaper. I couldn't recommend her more!
