Services
We at Holmes Wilson Tables have made concrete furniture by hand for 23 years, constantly evolving our techniques and aesthetic. We are a humble two-person business located in the dense Redwoods of Cazadero, California. We tend to draw on natural elements, especially leaves, to make impressions in the work.
The Chalice version of this table indents inward at the bottom like a cup. It would add a royal aura to a room of flowing wine or water. The top is slightly bigger than the Vase table, and it makes a more comfortable seat with the indent as a spot to rest your feet. The versatility of our Cube tables make them a flexible solution for interior and exterior situations.
These samples are to give you a reasonable idea of the potential colors, but we can never recreate a color perfectly due to our hand built process. You can request specific leaf fill colors by giving us the Sherwin Williams color codes (e.g., SW 7006, Extra White). Use their ColorSnap Visualizer tools to search for colors.
Nasturtiums are an edible leaf with a peppery taste. They like some moisture but are killed by frost. They are best in Spring and Fall, but we can usually find some in Winter and Summer as well. The hardy sword fern persists year round, but the fresh leaves in Spring are best. More mature leaves have dots of pollen that can add visual interest, but the woodier leaves mean some detail can be lost.
