Micah Cummins is a C-46 licensed contractor and business owner who helps people, families and businesses with their solar energy needs. Before starting a solar business, Micah worked 12 years in the industry installing solar equipment and providing overall management of business operations. In 2009, after a successful ten year career helping a similar business, Micah founded his own Precision Solar.

We went with Precision Solar and they were great. The installation was quick and easy and they had exactly the type of system we were looking for. We wanted a system where we could easily add on panels if our needs changed. They helped us to install the system we were looking for and were very professional. Living near the coast, I enjoy having a pool, but with May gray and June gloom as well as cool evening temperatures, my pool was always colder than I would have liked, as a result it didn't get as much use as it should.

Came to my door super rude and have no experience, when i said i’m not sure how much i pay for my electric bill he just turned around and left, i’m very disappointed and instead of using this company i will now go to another solar company, put out some sales agents that know what they are doing!

In 2014 I had Micah come out and install a $5000 solar pool heater system. I contracted with them based on great online reviews. I, too, wrote a couple of good reviews for them. Unfortunately, I must change those reviews . I have experienced air bubbles in my return lines. Very annoying, as they are considerable and noisy!! I called out Micah and they did not see anything wrong. I know the air is coming from the solar system because when I bypass the solar...NO air bubbles! I've emailed more than one video to Precision Solar s office showing massive air bubbles.....they have chosen to ignore me

Micah came over and spent his time to educate me on my options. No sales pressure to upgrade, or buy anything I didn't want. I decided to fix what I already had. His team was professional and courteous. They not only did what they said they'd do, but when they found another problem with my water valves, they fixed it right there and didn't bill me extra. I'm so tired of being oversold on things I don't need - this was a refreshing change. My highest recommendation.

WOW! is how I would describe my experience from start to finish. I had done extensive research, interviewed several companies and had actually decided on another company. It just so happened I called Precision Solar just before signing on with the other company. Mike discussed my project (which was quite large and complicated) and promised he could beat anyone else's price . He had no idea what I had been quoted. Sure enough, his quote was more than 20% less than the lowest quote I could get for exactly the same system.

Writing an update to my review. Precision did not actually paint the side of the house. They just left dust and material on the wall so it appeared to have been painted. Very shoddy work and lousy cleanup. Our landscaper also has advised us that when they took out the grass, it appears that they covered the sprinklers, so dirt backed up in the system and clogged other sprinklers and the grass died. They are refusing to replace the grass that they killed. Remember from my previous review that they were supposed to run the line through the flowerbed and I came home one day to find my lawn dug

We had our pool solar put in about a year ago. Couldn't be happier with the guys at Percision solar. Micah and his crew did a great job during the research and install phase. Just recently we had two panels become disconnected because of the super highwinds. We called Percision solar and they came out the next day to repair them. Thank you guys for the fast response and great solar panels.

Precision Solar did our solar installation 1 1/2 years ago and we could not be happier. We had pretty high electricity usage due to having a pool and a lot of electronics in our house and Micah came out mapped out our system and estimated our solar production and how much our electricity bill will be after the solar is installed. I am happy to report that after our first 12 months of solar production our electricity bill for the entire year was $60. Now that we have installed a new high efficiency heating and cooling system I anticipate having credits with SDGE instead of owing money. Micah

They installed my ground mounted solar panels at 40% less than anyone else quoted. They handled all of the paperwork, permitting, everything. When they were done you could not tell they were ever here (except for my beautiful solar array).
These guys are straight up folks with personalized service and a great staff.
Don't be fooled by the big guys and all of their advertising hype.

We had Solar Pool Heating panels installed by Precision Solar and love them. The whole process was very easy. Mike came over and checked it out. A few days later he came back with the designs and payment. About a week after that Micha and team installed. Mike told me we could get about a 11-13F bump in temperature. He was exactly right. Day before installation water temp 68F in mid-April. Day after installation water temp. 81F As of yesterday (June 1) we are at 88F which is perfect for the family to swim in. Mike even randomly called me last week just to check in and see how the panels

I recently purchased a house that had a pool with a solar heating panel. The panel got a leak so I called the company that installed the system, which was not precision solar. They provided terrible service, missed the first appointment, and overcharged me.
After that experience I decided to go with precision solar for a second opinion. The tech- Gene- was amazing! Very helpful, explained everything, and showed me how to handle problem areas. It was the complete opposite experience from the "other guys".

Micha and his team at Precision are an outstanding team of professionals. After a month of Solar research and prior reviews, we went with Precision.
