I've been using Southern Green for the past 2 months or so. My yard had been destroyed in weeds despite my own best efforts to get rid of them. Fortunately, two months later, my grass is greener and the weeds are finally on their way out. I have been doing business with this company for years. After wasting my money I finally stopped. A year later they assured me that they switched vendors who was supplying their products which never worked and would do a better job. The owner Brad which I started out with many years ago..did okay my original rate . Which I thought I'd give them another try. But then they went months without attempting to come to my residence and when I called to inquire as to the reason I was told the technician had lied as to why they haven't been to my residence. Now after they finally came here I was charged

Purchased promotion from door to door salesman, very responsive on the sale and signing agreement. Promotion was for pay for three months and August was free, advised I would cancel service after promotion, received phone call from sales man trying to sale another program declined, today I received invoice for $74.00 that I received treatment at 1506, impossible because it's 1400, I didn't authorize nor request. Contacted bank to advise of unauthorized transaction, due to no one will answer or return calls, but when I was updating billing information they were quick to respond. no email address

Southern Green did wonders for our lawn. Until we started having them treat our lawn for us, we couldn't get our lawn to look green for anything. Now we have no more chinch bugs or webworms & our grass look great!
They also offer an optional boosters to winterize and again for spring.

Update: Got a call back, tech coming back to see what can be done. Supposedly they didn't treat for weeds as it's too hot. That's odd as I was only wanting weed control.
Old Post: I decided to give these guys a shot after a door sales pitch. They sprayed my lawn for weeds a few days later. In the 2.5 weeks since they sprayed my yard looks awful, have never had weeds like I do now. Tried calling office to get them to remedy the issue, no answer.

Don't do it. Even though Dave, their local guy, is very nice and probably means well, their customer service is severely lacking.
My card was charged-- which I saw. Kept waiting for the service-- I live in a gated community, and when the tech arrived I would have been called. I also have cameras around my house with motion sensing, so would have been alerted when the tech was in the yard. Never saw any of this. Finally texted Dave who told me my yard had been treated the week prior.
Looked at the lawn-- weeds were doing really well.
Looked at the camera feed on the cloud-- nothing

These people are straight up and down “CROOKS”!!! These people have charged me so much money and has done nothing to my yard since March . They’ve even charged me for aeration treatment that they did not even do. The last technician that came out I know for a fact they didn’t spray my lawn because my video doorbell recorded him leaving the tag on my door before 7am and it was still dark outside. Go figure, so I called spoke to Bob to cancel my account because they will do automatic renewal if you don’t cancel At least 60 days before your actual contract is up. Now I have not

Dave is exceptional & responsive. My lawns, scrubs & hedges have never look so pristine after several companies over the years. Recently at Dave's suggestion we're using the mosquito spray control at both of our houses east fort lauderdale & plantation and has proven to be tremendously effective.

Mushrooms showed up and patches of brown hay gathered. I used their service for close to 8 months UNTIL after multiple phone calls and negations - nothing got better. I went to Home Depot and bought Scott's weed and feed and spread it around my house. MIRACULOUSLY- within 1 month - not a mushroom in sight and the grass is

If I could give them a zero or minus 1, I would. I had more weeds 3 months after beginning their services than before. Then I started noticing brown patches and dead grass in the following months. I called them several times to be told that they would return to review my concerns. They did, but nothing changed. My lawn looked worse every month, I called the last month to fire them for their poor service and I was told they would come back out to retreat. I Told them it didn't matter and that I wished to cancel, they insisted on coming back out, I stated that I needed to be present when they came

I contracted with this company about 2 years ago after trying, Scotts, TruGreen, etc. As far as weed control goes, they did an average job. However, their customer service is poor. I called to suspend my service in March. The technician was turned away when he showed up - unannounced - in April. I am being billed for the service in spite of calling and mailing informing them that I did not accept the service.
I agree with the other review regarding service intervals. When the salesman signed me up, I was told that service was performed on a 6 week interval. Soon, the technician was showing up

We'v had Southern Green for over a year now and our yard looks great. The best part about them is their people. Their sales, service, and technicians are great. Thomas, the tech that usually services my yard, was treating a neighbor's yard and stopped by to talk for a bit to check in and make sure we were happy with our yard. We don't normally get to see the Southern Green Techs so it was nice of him to stop by so we could talk about my yard.

Be aware of this company! They sell you "service - $50 - each 5-6 weeks". They come each 2 weeks!!! without scheduling and charge your card without authorization. Customer service rude and impossible to talk. If you are trying to clear situation - they just close your account without ever refunding money they stole from you.
