I have used Michaelson's for several years and have always had good service, until this latest incident with my ice maker. The service call was $125 for the inspection to determine what was wrong with the United and I was ok with that. Based on the tech inspection he informed me the censor to make the ice was installed backward and he reinstalled it and vacuum around the condenser for an additional cost of $125 plus sales tax.

I asked my wife if she possibly knocked off the censor tray when she pulled out the ice bucket and she stated she tried to put it back and installed it in the two

This is an awful company. Their customer service is terrible, and their prices are much higher and their quality is lower than other service companies. I gave them a couple of chances, but the last time was what pushed me over the edge. Our washing machine broke, so I schedule Michaelson's to look at it. It turns out the service tech needed to order parts ($1000 including labor), which he said would take 10 days to receive. They parts arrived the next day. However when I tried scheduling the tech to finish the job, the next available appointment was over 2 weeks later. The day before he

I had to help the tech lift the dryer off of the washer because they only sent one tech despite knowing this needed to be done. They said they would setup an appointment as soon as parts come in but I had to call multiple times to get them to finally set it up. They are worse than the cable company trying to get an appointment: they won't give you a time frame until the day before so you have to be available the entire day the are scheduled to come out. I highly recommend you save yourself a number of headaches and find a different company.

Paid 239.95 for repair to an upscale coffee machine, didnt' repair it, didnt have the correct technology, paid another company to make the proper repair. Take a guess of course Michaelson's are disputing my credit card dispute. Ironically , the Michaelson's NONrepairman spent one hour o the phone with the manufacturer, and still couldn't fix it. Company fixed it pronto w/ no manufacture repair. NEVER would I use a substandard company like this again.

Our Jenn-air under the counter microwave needed fixing under the extended warranty we bought from Famous Tate. The repairman came and determined the parts needed and said it would take some time because of shipping problems. I called week after week to se what the status was and after many weeks I found the parts arrived but that Tates had to supply the 4 brackets necessary to mount the parts. I was never told this, I had to call and ask. I contacted Tates and a warranty rep told me that there were 10 parts distributors locally that they could get the parts. He never called back so I called and

I was quoted for a dual sealed system replacement @ an estimated labor time of 8 hours, I supplied all SUBZERO OEM parts, for $2,950.
I provided the labor to disassemble and reassemble the entire system, allowing the Tech to complete the job in UNDER 4 hours * (I have him on camera) with the agreement with the tech that they would discount the labor as required.
I was billed a full $2,950 for the sealed system repair meaning that i was billed $625/hr. After speaking to the manager, he says that they will not be re-funding me the labor, and that they are firm on their $2,950 price.
The tech broke

I had their repairman come out in August to repair my wine cooler. He was very good. I needed a part they didn't carry. The service call was $110 but the technician said when the part comes in they'd install it for $250, but credit me with the $110 so I'd owe $140. The part took 2 months to arrive. I called to schedule the part install. I was informed it would be the full $250 because "it had been more than 30 days. Company policy." This company is a rip off. They're overpriced already, but to try and overcharge due to a part delay is genuinely dishonest. I wouldn

Our dishwasher had a cracked handle after 1 year and 1 month in use (1 month out of warranty). The manufacturer Bosch decided to cover the part and labor as a "good Will gesture". I picked Michaelson's from their list based on proximity to me. The experience was good all the way along and repairman Bill K showed up on time, was courteous and did a great job replacing the handle. Thanks Michaelson's and Bill K!

Unfortunately, I do have the right company as you were the one I spoke to when I called to complain. The minimum amount you would charge would be $200 for my repair or any repair for that matter. He did give me a discount for being a repeat customer sorry if I called that a coupon if I did. Bottom line.....you do a good service as I have used you many times but your prices do not reflect reasonable.....

We were quoted $90 trip fee plus $20-$60 to diagnose the issues with our appliances. Our credit card was charged $470 (!?!) and we've been trying to contact their "billing department" to resolve this via multiples calls and emails.

This company has knowledgeable, friendly, and competent technicians as well as amazing Customer Service. I got a call from the office (after they had closed) to let me know that the technician had gotten delayed on a previous job but would still come to fix my problem. I have used other companies in the way past, but they do not even come close to providing the personalized, professional service of Michaelson's. Always very responsive and pleasant as well as professional and competent.

I am sorry to say that my last experience with Michaelson's was horrible. In June 2018 we had our Viking refrigerator door hinges replaced by Roy with Michaelson's. The hinges were covered under a recent recall. X months later, we noticed that the refrigerator door was again not closing tightly. I put in a call for follow-up service and I told them our refrigerator door was not closing properly due to the hinges. Roy responded to the service call and told me that the new set of hinges from Viking must have also been defective. Roy informed me that the office would contact Viking to replace

Matt, the technician, was pleasant, professional, worked quickly, and was very competent--5 stars!
From the diagnosis, the part was ordered, arrived and installed two days later.
Shorter appointment windows would have been appreciated, but morning or afternoon seems to be industry standard.

Our Viking wine fridge recently broke, but luckily it was under warranty so Viking sent
Michaelson's Appliance Repair to our home for the repair.

My experience with Michaelson's Appliance Repair went above and beyond my experience with any other repair company. This company values your time and will not issue the standard 4-hour appointment window that other companies give. After scheduling my appointment I received a follow-up email and phone call to confirm the appointment. Not only was I given a 30-minute window, but I received an automated call when the repairman was finishing his
