Annie took our 13 year old table and refreshed it to match our farmhouse themed house.
We just loved the look of another piece she had done and requested the same finish. It was a beautiful stained top with painted bottom and chairs. When she started to sand the top of our table she discovered that some of the inside pieces were actually particle board and they could not be stained. Instead of giving up we brainstormed options and came up with the comprise to paint the top and use a glaze.
This worked better than I could have imagined and the table has just the look I was going for. She kept in communication with me and even finished sooner than she expected! I recommend you let her breathe life into your favorite pieces.

Only if the cabinets can be transported to my home where I do my painting. I do not have a contractors license and it is against the law for me to work in your home without a license. For most of my custom paint projects I use a sprayer but sometimes customers want an old vintage look and I will use the brush for that.
I'm a third generation furniture restorer with a passion for vintage and antique wood furniture. Both of my parents were also dedicated to recycling or repurposing old furniture that had lost its luster and passed their passion onto me. I feel that I take elements from both of my parents and have created a business that solves two problems.

This is such a fun shop. I've recently moved to their new location in the Minors a shopping center. You'll find a little bit of everything here from home decor, to hostess gifts, baby items and even fun pieces of jewelry.
The owner is so friendly and welcoming. You feel like family when you walk into the store. She's very knowledgeable and helpful.

I love Simply Chic! Serendipity comes to mind when I am heading there! It's always a sweet surprise, I never know what I might find, always something though. I love this shop and it's owner Annie! This has become my favorite shop to find gifts and cute things for my home and it is truly a Nipomo gem! She also does custom furniture refinishing. There are so many home goods, bath items, jewelry, and lots more, it would take you hours to browse through everything. I have had Annie custom finish furniture for us too, and her technique produces beautiful pieces that we are proud to have in our home.

Both the store and the owners are genuinely charming! There's such a wonderful array of items available. I loved browsing all the handmade goodies, reading all the clever signs and tea towels, and perusing the vintage furniture. I came away with a refreshing grapefruit and basil candle, a keychain that fits on the wrist, and an aromatherapy heat wrap! I could definitely get very carried away in this store! You just have to stop by and see for yourself. Nipomo is not that far away!

My family and I stopped by today after eating dinner. They have a fun selection of furniture, soaps, cups and other goodies at a fair price. The owners are super friendly which adds to the inviting atmosphere. We'll be back to purchase more goods from this great addition to the small business community of Nipomo.

This place is so cute!! They have so many cool items inside including some cute tote bags, candles, and even handmade jewelry. The two women working there were so sweet and helpful. I ended up buying some bath bombs, shower steamers, and a handmade ring. If you're in the area, definitely check them out, there are so many cool items and their store is so cute! I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in town!!
