Jane Harrington, owner of Pieces Hand Painted Furniture has been painting for over 30 years. Her formal training took shape at Massachusetts College of Art, earning her a Bachelors of Fine Art degree in Fashion Design and Fine Art. Using classic motifs and natural elements as well as protective sealants Jane gives personalities to your furniture.
With her love of the 3 dimensional form and Fashion Design she has found her inspiration in "Dressing the furniture" with decorative hand-painting and faux finishes. By choosing furniture as her canvas - her art becomes functional as well as beautiful. Many years ago I purchased a beautiful hand-painted bedroom set from Pieces. I have loved the furniture and it has moved with me a number of times. Recently one of the finials broke off the headboard and I contacted Pieces regarding replacement. More than 20 years later, the owner cheerfully accommodated my request and my bed now looks as good as new! Personal service at its best. Thank you Jane and Pieces.
