As a first-time homeowner new to Kyle, I was worried about finding a reputable (and available) garage door service professional. Matamoros Garage Doors was the first and only company I called based on Google reviews, and I'm relieved to say that we were not disappointed!
Gilbert was accommodating to our emergency, and fit us into hisschedule for a repair. He arrived early for our repair appointment and was done quickly but addressed all the immediate needs. Transparent about costs for now, and potential needs for future replacement. Highly recommend!

Gilbert! Our hero! Our garage doors started acting wonky as soon as we took possession of the house 3 months ago, We had to allot an extra 5 minutes just to get out of the driveway. Anyway, we called; Gilbert answered the phone himself and since he was "in the neighborhood" was at our house in a jiffy. He assessed the problem quickly, laid out repair scenarios, answered our questions and was back the next day with new parts and began work. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I can't give enough stars to Matamors Garage Doors. They keep their word on when the job will start and what it will cost. They don't have any hidden charges and are meticulous at what they do. I can't thank Gilbert and his wife enough. Included are pictuers of the garage door after the storm and with the new installed door! I would highly reccommend Matamors Garage Doors!!!

Gilbert was quick to come out and give us an estimate for our garage door repair within a couple of hours of me calling. He was knowledgeable and honest, recommending we do a torque master conversion we would eventually need to do anyway.
Within a day he had the part and was at our house doing the repair. He was professional, polite, and got it done very quickly. Great communication, too! Highly recommend Gilbert for garage door needs!

Gilbert communicated flawlessly his time of arrival and what he did, but also went above and beyond with his friendly and professional approach to clients. I called for a tension spring breaking issue, and ended up needing that AND the garage door opener itself replaced. Gilbert gave me fair pricing on both repairs, knowledge of how to maintain my garage door as a whole, but even followed all COVID safety protocols.

Gilbert Matamoros is honest , professional and does the job for a fair price. I will never use anyone else. Gilbert has installed our new Garage door openers, they work perfectly. If you call Gilbert, he will appear personally to do the work. If you call a larger company with multiple employees, it's hard to say what level of experience you may get with the person who shows up at your door. Above and beyond anything else, this is a good reason to try Gilbert since he has many years of experience.

After a little OOPS we needed a new garage door right away! I called Matamoros Garage Doors and Gilbert answered the phone on the first ring. Summary: 48 hours later I have a brand new garage door fully installed. We had a miscommunication, I failed to let him know my address, so he didn't make the appointment, and he squeezed me in on a Sunday afternoon! This guy is amazing! After my son decided to hang on the garage door as it was going up, it came off the track. Called them up around 6pm and they came out within an hour. They were straight up about how much they would charge before coming out. When they arrived they suggested we replace the rollers and spring but no hard sell and said it wasn't absolutely necessary. I elected to go ahead and replace the springs and rollers since they were over 10 years old.
Longer story short, glad I replaced them. Garage is amazingly quiet now and operates like a well oiled machine. Highly recommend

My automatic garage door opener had been broken for years and I was just living with it the old-fashioned way, but then the door itself came loose from the track over a weekend. My garage door was stuck open with no way to raise or lower the door at all. No longer able to secure my belongings, I needed service quick. The very morning before the garage door broke, I was driving behind a big black pick-up truck with letters on the back- "Matamoros Garage Doors". Don't know why it stuck in my head, but I am glad it did.
