I had an excellent experience with Sunrise Roofing. We initially thought that there were two layers of old roof to tear off, but there were five. The laborers worked diligently to get down to the sub roof. There they replaced some of the old wood that had rotted out and reframed the skylights. The workers were skilled with the woodworking as well as the roofing.
The old roof was totally flat and I previously had significant problems with pooling. So Sunrise used insulation to create drainage and put in crickets. Then covered with TPO. I now have the double benefit of a roof that drains and a more energy efficient home. They did a great job on cleanup and the pricing was excellent, especially for the quality work they did.
They worked me into their schedule more quickly than expected. Martin, the owner, personally inspected the finished roof. I had a composite roof which had developed some leaks; Sunrise Roofing gave me a new membrane roof. Their estimate was reasonable in comparison with others.

Your home or your business are most likely your biggest investments. Both of them are protected by the rooftop. Each rooftop has a life cycle, and sooner or later turns out to be irreparable. That's why it's important to take the best care possible of the exterior just as much as the interior. Wear from outside elements takes its toll on every roof at some point.
We are so glad that we found SunRise to help us with wind damage to our concrete tiles. This experience could not have been better! Larry was able to quickly come out, assess the damage, and repair our roof. We found him to be very kind, which was nice as we were under a great deal of stress from having this problem right after we bought our new house!
Larry and Martin have and are the best team I have ever come accross. My Studio was built in 1906 and was in desparate need of a new roof which no one else would touch! This company not only replaced by roof but did it so well it looks like it came with the original house. Look no further for a roofing company that is professional and efficient and cost effective.

Critical: Quality, Value
Sunrise Roofing advertises quality products however either the metal Roofing that they installed was of poor quality or it was not installed properly. It wrinkled during and shortly after installation. The one that they replaced had been on for more than ten years and never once showed wrinkling.

The integrity of this company I think, was built on the knowledge of the owner, his years of experience and tenacity to build a business!. It says a lot about a man when his daughter wants to work for him! The family feel I got talking with their team is what made me value sunrise roofing so much.

We had a tile roof that was 20 years old that encountered a major leak during the last November rains in Albuquerque. Sunrise was the only company that was able to come out and examine the situation within 2 business days. They made sure to discuss and show us all of the costs for repair and replacement of our roof. Their communication, responsiveness and professionalism is top notch! It was a messy job to replace a 40 square tile roof with shingles plus repair the damaged areas, but they did it in two days! It was messy and they did as good as they could to keep the mess at a minimum. They did

This company did a great job for us. Clint was awesome, always got back to me as well as his office.
It took a few months to get beyond the back up, but once they showed up they were terrific.
Very responsive when taking care of a few minor details.
They did what they said they were going to do.

Nice people to deal with but I had several issues.
Substituted 7/16 osb for the original ¾ plywood and still tried to charge for 3/4 until we called them on it.
Used gobbed up silicone to seal an area of flashing.
Left 20 or so screws visible under the carport decking, later to be clipped off after we complained.
Bent over nails in the boards FACING THE STREET!
Several areas of the carport decking sheets were not attached properly, you could push them up with your hand. Later the decking was properly screwed down and the TPO was patched where the new screws went through, again after we complained

Extremely disappointed with this company. I called to get an estimate on replacing my roof in Cochiti Lake...I made an appointment with Clint to come out to my property for an estimate on repairs/replacement. I was then called by Clint and told it was too far to travel for repairs...which I understand. But he also couldn't be bothered to visit my property for an actual estimate...relying solely on satelight images for the area. You would think a $10,000 job would inspire a company to at least visit the home and give an accurate estimate versus one where he didn't get the current roof

Dave and Heavon were scheduled to give an estimate, they had to reschedule but made a call with plenty of notice and was very apologetic and appreciative that we were willing to reschedule. They did show up on time and were very professional for the estimate.
Sunrise was not the cheapest estimate but also not the most expensive. We chose them based on their professionalism, cost, reviews and warranty.
