Full installation of a Perimeter Technologies system with Perimeter Technologies transmitter installed inside the house, heavy duty 14 gauge THHN wire, one Perimeter Technologies Comfort Contact pet receiver collar, one cement or asphalt driveway crossing, flags for training, a surge protector kit (to protect the transmitter), and a training session with owner and pet.
The smaller and sleeker collar receiver features a Li-Ion battery that charges in two hours and has a one to two month battery life. Now featuring seven levels of static stimulation as well as vibration and tone, it's easier than ever to keep your dog safe and secure. This is the only invisible fence system that can contain up to 100 acres.
The challenge in doing a backyard only installation is that you want the house side of boundary to be inactive so your dog can freely enter and exit your home without getting the correction. However, for the system to work, you still need a full loop of single (untwisted wire). We create a loop that goes tight around the front of the house too.
Cost depends on the number of pet(s), size of property, number of training sessions and equipment purchased. Rodney Artz was very professional and friendly. He came out and measured the area we wanted for the underground fence and then gave us an estimate. He came out the next week and installed it. After install, he showed us, with our puppy, how it works. He took his time and explained everything and told us to call if we had any questions or problems. I would definitely recommend this business!

Rodney installed a new wireless underground fence system. He had some creative ideas on how to set up the perimeter to keep my dog in either the back or front yards. The work was meticulous and well done. He showed me how to train the dog and then did a practice session with us.

Rodney came out and installed the contain and train electric fence system for us, not only was he personable, respectful, he communicated everything making sure we didn’t have questions. He asked to meet the dogs prior to starting the job so he could get a sense for them. He was patient with the dogs as he took them around and began the training process. He was honest and reassuring. We had several other quotes before choosing Rodney to install the fence. He was the cheapest out of all the quotes and actually gave us the time of day to make sure we got what we wanted. He walked us through everything

We had Rodney come out and install the Sport Dog Contain & Train system for our puppies that are growing bigger by the minute. He is easy to work with and gets back to you very fast. The system was a lot less money than the competitor and he was able to have the job done quicker than we were quoted by the other company. He listened to what we wanted and made it work so the pups could enjoy our pond and stay out of the road. We like to support local businesses and would definitely recommend this company to our friends and family.

Rodney installed the Sport Dog Contain & Train system for us at the end of March and it has been working great. We have a 3 yr old Boxer mix and a Siberian Husky who was 8 months at the time of install. Huskies are known to be escape artists, have very high prey drive, and are easily distracted and I was concerned if the underground fence would work for him. I'm happy to say Both dogs caught on very quickly and it is wonderful to able to have them outside and not worry about them leaving the yard. Our close neighbor is terrified of dogs and there was no way I wanted her to be afraid to go out into

Rodney at Safe Dog did a great job installing our invisible dog fence. He was kind and friendly with our dogs, showed us how everything worked, and helped us with a round of training. The product he installed seems very robust with thick gauge wire, waterproof collars, and a full featured remote. He even dealt with cutting through our asphalt driveway and burying the wire in conduit under our gravel parking area.
I couldn't recommend him more. It also helps that he was almost half the price of the another company's quote.

We had an underground dog fence installed at our new home. It was a tough install due to landscaping. Rodney did a great job getting the fence installed properly. He was very professional. We ran into and issue with the system we wanted being on back order and he went above and beyond and got us another system to use while we had to wait so we could feel comfortable letting our dogs enjoy their new yard. Would recommend.
