Critical: Punctuality
I have called three times about repair of the fence on Trappers Trail,by the road..also repair rails on other side of trappers Trail .,and bill me for all repairs. I will not call again. If you are too busy to do this, I will look elsewear. Text me and let me know.. Thanks.Peg Taber

I'm saddened to have to write a negative review, because I typically go out of my way to write the positive ones instead. But, we are at our wits end with Auburn Fence. We spent $14,000 last year to get a fence through them, and were happy with the work. We now need a small gate installed on that same fence, and my husband has had to call ELEVEN TIMES since May 20th (it is now August 26th) to get this gate installed. Never once has there been an apology, there have been very, very few call-backs, and we have been told many times people would show up only to be disappointed when nobody comes

Apparently a $5000 project is not enough of a sale for them to have the professionalism to reply, for days at a time, to a customer trying to finalize an estimate. I guess they probably do good work, but this is no way to run a business. Maybe they will think YOU are worth their time and responsiveness. Or maybe they won't... You may want to spend more than $5000. Good luck.

Tried for two weeks to get them to come and give me a quote. Hard to get anyone on the phone, usually an answering machine. When I did get a person, she was always friendly and took my information but I never get a call back. I want to give them my money but they don't want it. Angies List confirms they do good work, if you can get them out to your property which is apparently a real chore.

A tree trimming job on my neighbors old large oak resulted in a large branch wiping out a section of my vinyl fence; the tree company contacted well over a dozen fence companies -several of which seemed interested in the repair but never followed up or came to look at the job. Then Auburn fence stepped up to the plate, agreed to take on the job and sent out two workers in temperature in the 10-15 degrees range with wind chill in the single digits. They repaired the fence with parts that they ordered from the information I gave to the tree company. Kudos to Auburn Fence and worker John and his assistant

After a couple weeks of rain delays... totally not companies fault. They were here when they said they would be and installed the posts one day and the fence the other. The installer communicated a couple discrepancies with our design immediately to make sure we would be getting exactly what we were wanting. The price was less than many of the competitors around. In the end the fence is perfect, exactly what we wanted and my dogs could not be happier to have freedom to run again!

Don the owner is concerned only with the next bigger account than yours. The mom and pop approach to customer service takes you back to the days of the good ole boys - they may have time for you depending on how large and easy the job is. any board on board fence or ornamental can be installed in a much more professional transaction and a more efficient process. These guys are midwest mutants.
