In 1994, David Harchuck started his own construction company in one tiny room in New Kensington. With his strong character and high work ethic, he quickly grew into one of the area's premier commercial contractors. After retiring, David has passed his operations on to his son Bryan and long time senior project manager Matthew Smith.

Given the state of the building this company built, in which I now work, I would absolutely not recommend them for anything. Within weeks we had issues. The roof leaks, the heat went out in the middle of winter, the doors are already to the point of breaking and are not secure, and the concrete is cracking in many places. The person with this company who came to fix these issues does not know how to effectively communicate; he is rude and demeaning, does not tell staff what work he did when he is called to fix something. He just leaves. He accused staff of lying when it was brought to his attention
