In 2004 Randy Sadewic, and Mark Drummond, NABCEP certified installers with a shared love for the veggie car and a passion for solar and renewable energy joined as co-owners. Positive Energy Solar started out of the Santa Fe Business incubator and was one of the first successful graduates of the program.

$8.50 electric bills since last year! I love our 24 panel 8.4 kW Positive Energy Solar system, placed over our tiled roof. From initial surveys through installation, and dealing with tax credit paperwork, Positive Energy Solar was fantastic. We consumed 11.9 kWh in 2021 while producing 14.9 kWh. I have PhD in physics, and I'm a former nuclear weapons designer from Los Alamos, so I understand a lot of the basics. Positive Energy's team are clearly experts. Thank you!

I would not recommend the company. Prices are way to high and they are not technical enough to explain the product and the semiconductors. My background is Engineering and I know they were not informed correctly as far the products they were selling and the conductors to hold the power into the boards. Plus the staff was rude and very antisocial against teachers especially APS teachers. The owner Jennifer Dixon didn’t care about the rude comments. My wife unfortunately retired from APS. Won’t recommend this place and we can’t trust it.

I enthusiastically and wholeheartedly recommend Positive Energy Solar. I've been trying to make attempts to do my part in being environmentally responsible and was looking for a company that was equally committed and caring. Positive Energy is a fitting name for this local solar company. One of the main reasons we decided to contract with them was their local footprint and well reviewed status in New Mexico. We decided to have them install 8 panels on our South facing roof to generate ~118% relative solar production to the grid. The materials they recommended were highly reviewed and efficient. The warranties offered were outstanding with 25-year workmanship and materials guarantees. Needless to say, they were easy to work with and emitted positive energy in every interaction.

After month of research, I decided to hire Positive solar. During the decision process Jeremy McCollum came out and explained everything very thoroughly. Next came installation. Again very professional. They did what they said they would and in a very timely manner. I could not recommend a better company. My last 4 PNM bills were $8.18 for taxes. And I have stored enough credit to carry me through the summer. (I have 2 refrigerated units) I strongly suggest talking to them if you are considering solar

We worked with numerous Positive Energy staff over the course of our project, including Sales Personnel, Engineers, and Installation Technicians. Everyone treated us with the highest degree of respect and provided exceptional customer service. I have a 12kw ground-mount system from Positive Solar and I am very happy with my decision to choose Positive. I got three bids and did a lot of research about residential solar--Positive came in thousands less than the others and their technical approach was much better. I had significant trenching, conduit, and concrete work in my project, it all turned out nearly flawless. SunPower by Positive Energy Solar has been a very + experience. I was very impressed with the showroom and the no pressure sales presentation. We researched both the company and the technology based on the recommendation of a friend who installed a similar system. The company recommended a ten-panel, 3.45 KW system, with panel-integrated inverters (25 year warranty on everything). The system went into service in late December 2016. It has performed very well, better than I expected during these short winter days. Everyone at Positive Energy Solar from sales to site design to installation, has been a pleasure to work with.
