Best Man Movers was founded ten years ago by Ricky Perry. He was young teenager with plenty of ambition! At the Age of 15, he realized that there's only one bright promising future that will never end as long as you always give 110% effort, and that's creating your own path. Even before this age he used go door to door in his neighborhood with his father's lawnmower cutting their grass at a minimum set fee just to keep money in his pocket.
Distribute the weight evenly as much as possible between the boxes. If they are two heavy they could break when you carry them and it may not be very healthy for your back either. Another option is to use plastic boxes. They are stronger and you could rent them. That way no spending money for boxes and no searching for how to get rid of them afterwards.
Best Man Movers are a Life Saver! Me and my wife called them at the last minute because Two Men and a truck couldn't make it because they overbooked and then basically flaked on us at the last minute. So we called Best Man Movers and got an appointment booked in the same day. They came out within the next few hours, ready to go.

Just read the 1 star reviews.... they are the true ones that are in here... Ricky is very unprofessional and very disrespectful... he hollered at us and cussed us. We actually had to call the police on him it was so bad he threatened to dump our stuff out on the curb and leave. This man should not be in business and it is now my soul purpose in life to make sure people know just how this company and Ricky really is.. A 5 hour move ended up being 8 hours and almost 1600 dollars. The way he talked and treated my wife and her mom was just truly sad. See ya later Ricky I told you that you wouldn't

The worst movers I have ever worked with. I told him when we setup service the size of the home and the furniture was antique. I also advised we would be moving to a storage unit with an elevator. When he arrived he said they didn’t have enough time to wrap everything but would take good care of the master bedroom furniture. Ricky damaged an antique armoire and then said it is expected since it was “old”.

These gentlemen were professional, on time, hard working, helpful, respectful & extremely responsive to all needs/ concerns! Great job.

- Gas stove & dishwasher weren't reinstalled at new location & baby's bed broken beyond repair.
(HOWEVER)

I called to make a reservation which was confirmed by Rick Perry who I assume was the owner. I scheduled on a Sunday so the move would have minimum traffic. They didn’t show he stated they got backed up on another job. I’m very understanding and agreed to a move for the next morning between 6 am to 8 am. They arrived at 2:30 pm took three hours to load had no tools to take down my bed or tv’s which they knew about. I had to purchase tools. I didn’t have much furniture and about ten boxes. It took them three hours to load. The guys argued on how the furniture would be moved instead of working

Not Professional at all. I had 2 movers with a groupon and only the owner was moving items. The 2nd person only assisted when the owner said help me with this. They move very slow. Normally a move that would take 2 hours will take them 4 hours so they can charge you extra. The owner was very rude and threw my boxes on the ground and in the truck. I was even scared at one point. I just decided to stay on the phone with someone. He would only move big items. He said he do not move small TV and appliances. Only big items which did not make sense to me. They even told me they put my bed together which

They were very professional and fast. They arrived early.. All of my items were handled carefully and loaded and tied down on the truck so they would not slide around. They were even able to handle the big bulky items with ease...When we arrived at my unloading location, they even offered to wipe down my dining room table because it was covered in spider webs from sitting in the garage and they did not want that to come into my new house. They were very solid and helpful! I will definitely recommend you guys!!

We found some outrageous prices in the area with less man and for less hours.

Best Man Movers arrived earlier than the appointment time which was great!! They answered all my calls prior to the appointment..Gave me helpful advice to prepare...Their customer service was excellent as well as their work performance. I was completely surprised they worked non-stop...wrapped every item that was necessary and took care of my personal belongings! They worked extremely hard, was careful and professional..nothing was damaged..My family enjoyed watching them work, nowadays that's hard to find! Compared to all the other moving companies I used... I called and made reservations with Best Man Movers, and I spoke with the owner Ricky. My reservation was made for Sunday August 23rd. Ricky stated that they would call to confirm the reservation the Friday before. I received no call to confirm, and every time you call their phone, it goes straight to VM. More importantly, Best Man Movers never called nor did they show up on the date of the reservation. Poor customer service, and bad business. I would not recommend using this company.
