J & J Tree Works

My wife and I called J and J Tree Works to remove a MASSIVE eighty feet high Norway Spruce tree from our yard. We live in the village so we thought that it would be very difficult to remove between houses.....well it might have been difficult for any other tree removal service, but not for J and J! They came with a very professional crew and had the tree taken down and removed safely in only TWO hours! Those guys are incredible! We will certainly be using them in the future on other properties that we have! We highly recommend J and J Tree Works! When you use them you will not be disappointed!

On March 11, 2019, a pine tree almost twice as tall as my house fell against my house. I called J and J Tree Service, and workers came quickly and removed the pine tree within an hour and a half. J and J Tree Service came back a month later and removed 2 more pine trees. However, J and J Tree Service promised to come back and remove the fallen pine tree stump for $100 and never came. I called them 7 or 8 times and left messages each time, but they never returned my calls. That pine tree stump sat on my front lawn for over 2 years. One neighbor jokingly asked if I was keeping the stump as a monument

From start to finish, I had an excellent experience dealing with Mike, Justin and their crew. I had 2 large oaks and a smaller tree on my property that needed to come down but affordability and scheduling put the brakes on it several times. When I contacted Mike, he returned my call in less than 24 hours and was at my house to give me an estimate the next day. The price was incredibly affordable and even with me changing some details, Mike worked with me without issue.
On the day the trees were to be removed, Mike called me first thing to let me know the team was on the way. They arrived on time

-Mike called back quickly, he gave an estimate via email right away, he called when they could not come because of rain. Other than the rain delay, they stuck to the dates that he provided.
-When they were here, they used a crane to take down a large double tree hanging over the house, with no problems. No dropped large pieces.
-They gave me a price cut since I wanted to keep the trunks for firewood.
-They cut up the lumber into easily manageable firewood sized pieces without me needing to ask. The branches were all chipped and carted away with no mess left behind.

We were having a difficult time finding someone who could come to our house and remove stumps for a reasonable price. I emailed J & J, they got back to me immediately, issued a free quote based on pictures I sent, and were at my house the next day at 8am. Completely the work - clean, professional, efficient, safe. Very accommodating. Will be using again!

A huge windstorm knocked three trees onto my house. I called J & J Tree Works and the owner was here within the hour. He provided an estimate and before the end of the day, the trees were removed, the holes in the roof covered, the broken chimney taken down, the gaping hole left after the chimney was removed was covered with tarp. When they finished the job, including cutting up the usable firewood and cleaning up the debris, my yard looked way better than before the storm hit. I can't praise them enough--professional, reasonable and thorough. Highly recommend.

An excellent job. They are easy to communicate with, their price was fair, they came when they said they would, the crew was friendly and and responsive, but above all, skilled, efficient, effective, thorough, and neat. And you haven't lived until you've seen Travis up a tree!
