How often has anyone ever said they could recommend a contractor with no reservations? Well, JTB Landscapers is one! They just completed a sizable yard makeover for me, including a new irrigation system, a low… retaining wall, and a gorgeous raised bed planter. From start to finish, the work was done professionally, on time, and RIGHT. The crews were attentive to detail, and to me, when the job neared completion, and I began bringing out my yard fixtures and decor. They helped me set everything beautifully. I now have a trouble free, lovely, worry free yard.

Never got around to the actual hire because there were too many red flags at the first meeting.
I had done extensive work looking for a quality co. to do my entire job, front, back and sides. My budget was 100k. At initial call to set up an appointment I told the receptionist my desires and was told they dont do stucco walls only paver walls (1st red flag). and the job could be done in 5 days. ( 2nd red flag!!) other companys all quoted 7 to 9 weeks.
I still decided to sched. a estimate since I had already interviewed 4 other companies. Why not a 5th. About a week goes by and I called to cancel

JTB and their team is absolutely amazing. Not only did they do a great job transforming our rock filled backyard into a tropical oasis, but they did it quick and efficiently. Most companies would have taken a month to do what they could do in a week. They have a huge crew of the hardest working guys. They show up daily on time and work so hard...especially in this Vegas heat.
They did a lot of work...they pushed the dirt back, put pavers in, built a wall, installed artificial grass, installed a patio cover, and planted multiple trees and plants. They covered our pool really well to keep it clean

Omg!!!! When we hired JTB Landscaping, we had no idea how our expectations would be exceeded! From ease of contracting to support during approval review by two separate HOAs to artistry, industry and pleasantness of Arturo and his crew, we could not be more pleased with JTB! We had complete desertscaping of yard with new drainage, electrical lighting, sprinkler system for trees and desert plants, artificial turf, palm grooming, pavers, stepping stones, rock, and new plantings. They did our backyard 5 years ago and they are very professional and efficient. Their work stood for years. My biggest regret is not getting them for our 2nd house in which the landscape already falling apart within a year. The best part of the experience was the speed at which the job was completed. I was not working at the time and was able to witness the entire process from our living room and was really impressed at what you don't see

Had JTB do our landscaping 2 years ago - we called them back to do additional landscaping in your backyard - as of now - we are building a pool and wanted additional landscaping around our pool- and it was the most painful phone call ever!
Being drilled on; if both decision makers will be home - just to get a quote! As they won't quote you if both won't be home (as if people don't work)
Then to continue to give us the 3rd degree on why we are shopping quotes as we build out our pool (built by another company) asking us why we are calling them -

I would say do NOT hire. I spoke to Julissa on April 28, 2021. I e-mailed photos with ideas and pictures of the property. I was told their minimum job is 5k and most are 10k or higher, I said fine because I knew my job would be much higher. Julissa sent me an e-mail stating everything was sent to the designer and they will be contacting me. It is May 18, and I have not heard anything. I wasted 3 weeks waiting for them. They probably don't need the business.

JTB provides excellent service! They were very professional and allowed me to be involved in the design process down to the smallest details. Once the job began, it took 11 days from start to finish! Having done this several times in the past, I was amazed at the turn around. And it was done correctly...we had gas lines, water lines, and electrical lines added. JTB even submitted the architectural request to my HOAs. Yes, you pay more but you'll have your yard done timely and correctly! Highly recommended!

Kyle came out and gave us a quote that was over 3x more expensive than our four other quotes. He also couldn't be reached when we wanted to discuss the quote w him. Multiple calls were made to his cell and the voice mailbox was full. Neither JTB nor Kyle ever followed up with us on the quote making it an easy decision to go with a competitor.

Horrible non-caring customer service was the experience I had. They came out to quote my project and were extremely high. Further, they were unapologetic when confronted about how their price was compared to other reputable companies. I do not recommend them. Laying fake grass is not rocket science, so don’t pay more because you won’t get more.

If you're looking to get your yard landscaped, don't look any further. JTB was doing work on a few of our neighbors' houses, and their work looked great so we called for an appointment. Starting with Haley at their office who was wonderful and immediately got us an appointment to meet with Kyle. Kyle was awesome, as he delivered a concept we were happy with, within our budget, all without pressure, upselling, or nonsense. With pure confidence, we signed and put a deposit.

JTB performs 5 star work. If there were 10 stars they would warrant it. They responded to my initial call within an hour and were able to see me the next morning. They took my vision of what I wanted and executed the project above my expectations. Complete project buy-in. Every milestone was communicated to me and my expectations were verified before moving on to the next task. They had an entire team dedicated to my job (almost a dozen craftsmen). My first impression and experience was today and the other reviews listed on Google are correct. I explained the job and what was needed to complete it along with referencing to other reviews online about them mentioning a $5,000 minimum. Jody said that yes there is the $5,000 minimum and that most of their jobs are from $5,000 to $10,000. I was a bit disappointed that my project was not taken due to the fact that I was a smaller project.

So first of all a shout out to the guys (I'm afraid I can't recall all the names but here goes)... Kyle (he will come out and meet with you to go over your ideas/designs etc. He really knows his stuff, he has good suggestions when needed, and is just a very nice guy. His wife Haley is lovely and she does a wonderful job on the renderings/designs etc for HOA approvals)

We decided to call JTB Landscapers because we received a card on our door, after we contacted a couple of other landscapers and weren’t happy with them. Kyle showed up promptly at our appointment time, we only told him we wanted a patio, walkway, and an area for our spa we ordered, we asked him his thoughts on the rest of the yard. We didn’t tell him what my husband and I discussed to see his insight on what he would do. My husband and I wanted our yard to be a backyard oasis, because of my lupus and blood clotting disorder I’m not able to travel, so we wanted it to be a place to go and unwind

We are SO IN LOVE with our new front and back yard thanks to JTB Landscapers. We went from a drab, rock and concrete only landscape, to a gorgeous exterior complete with trees, drip irrigation, artificial turf, pavers, stepping stones, a river rock formation, lighting, and a planter wall that accommodates plenty of seating. JTB placed a card on my door, so decided to call them. The sales lady wasn’t very helpful, and refused to schedule and estimate if BOTH decision makers were not present. A terrible sales tactic usually used by businesses I don’t like dealing with. Minimum pricing was $5K, with most jobs not being less than $10K. This was right off the bat with ZERO information on my job.
Decided to hang up, clearly not motivated in the current economic climate to do business. Buyer beware.

I was so disappointed with my experience/ first impression today. Like other reviews, as I was explaining what I needed done the girl on the phone said they have a $5,000 minimum. I need my front and back yards completely gutted and redone. I was shocked. That would defiantly be more than $5,000. I didn't get the chance to finish. JTB Landscapers are awesome. Thank you Kyle, Dave, Haley, Josh, and the entire crew! They are not cheap. But if you are looking for great quality to be done right fast. These are the guys. Highly recommend. I had seen all the great reviews on yelp. Gave them a call and Kyle showed up right away to give an estimate. Since no one else had bothered to pick up the phone or return my calls. JTB had my business. Neighbor of mine started his backyard before mine. Similar build. And they are still working on it. JTB spent 4 days total putting up a patio cover. Drainage. Pave stone. And synthetic grass

I highly recommend JTB. No lengthy delays on getting estimates and large work crews ensure that work is done timely and right. I couldn't be more pleased with my backyard. Kyle is wonderful to work with and has vision so that you don't get a cookie cutter backyard.

I met with Kyle at JBT Landscaping and I needed work done in my backyard to finish up my landscaping that I had started. I also needed to address some issues in my front yard. I needed lighting both in the front and backyard. I met and picked out all the shrubbery with Kyle. I was surprised that Kyle was ready to go that Thursday morning and he said it would only take one day. Thursday morning at 6am sharp, nine (9) workers and a supervisor showed up. JTB Landscapers did a great job with my backyard. I worked with Kyle and James and they are very professional, showed up on time everyday and worked all day. It took them 4 days to complete the job which other companies would take months.
James communicated with me everyday with the progress. Edwin and his installers did all the fancy brick work on my pavers which they did a great job.

After the last post, I got immediate responses and apologies from Kyle, my main contact, and the owner of the company, Jon, to get this rework taken care of. The rework and cleanup were done quickly and to my satisfaction. I did not give my original 5-star rating due to the ping pong of messages and maybe a communication fail along the way.
But special shoutout to James who did an excellent job in replacing the plants and clean up in a timely manner. Thank you!
