Since 1964 people have been happily building and enjoying Lake Norman, known as the "inland sea" just a few miles outside of Charlotte, NC. Lake Norman hails 530 miles of splendid shoreline. However, this 53 years of enjoyment and prosperity have left little opportunity for new homes. Thus, Lake Norman 2.0, the rebuilding of its current residences and creating new opportunities for living.

Eric Johnson of E.S. Johnson Builders and his entire staff made my first home building experience very enjoyable. From the first meeting Eric was able to take all our ideas and wants and work them into the perfect floor plan for us. The time to build went as expected, we stayed in our allowances, and we received the quality we had heard about from their homes. Would recommend this builder to everyone.

E S Johnson Builders was the builder of my new home. I love the design and the architectural details of the home. Eric Johnson and his staff were a delight to work with - very professional, dedicated to providing the highest quality in both the work and service. The attention to detail in the home shines through in everything from the coordination of the various tile work used in the baths, kitchen and laundry areas to the extensive ship lap and molding detail. Very happy.

My husband and I built a custom home with E.S. Johnson Builders in 2015. The experience was devastating both financially and emotionally for our family. During construction, we raised some concerns related to a variety of serious design flaws and poorly installed products. The majority of these issues were not addressed, the builder denied requests to meet to discuss and he locked us out of our home. We never received a move-in date, even after waiting two weeks after the Certificate of Occupancy had been issued. Eventually, we had to hire a locksmith and break into our own home. We spent a full
