BEANTOWN Home Improvements isn't just involved with roofing, siding, windows, doors and decks. No we feel very fortunate to be where we are today and as such we try to give back to the community and several charities whenever possible. Helping our service men and women is a major importance to the owner Jim DelPrete and he is constantly trying to help those who have afforded us the freedoms we have today.
The opportunities to reduce the environmental and health impacts of our homes span from big decisions, like location, to seemingly small decisions, like paint and light bulbs. The products we use to clean, light, furnish, renovate, and build our homes must be a part of the greening process. Reducing our environmental impacts requires thinking and learning about not just how we use products, but where they came from and where they're going.
Beantown Home Improvements "Operation Payback" Awards a New Roof for FREE to an American Veteran Every Year. If you're like us, and we hope you are, we appreciate the gallant efforts and sacrifices America's soldiers have given time and time again for this great country. Sadly in today's day and age we feel that many people take our freedom for granted and our veteran's sacrifices get forgotten.
In regards to siding we only replaced the front of the house. The clapboard is CertainTeed Monogram in Granite Gray and the decorative gables are Certainteed Rough Split shake in Pacific Blue, really nice color pairing. We also moved the light, which was originally above the front door to the left side of the door.

Beantown does great work, end of story. The owner, James, is always quick to respond with what he thinks is best for my home. His crews are on time and extremely polite while they work. The folks at Beantown are truly amazing. Every single person working for the company is skilled, competent, receptive, and efficient. From the first meeting all the way through to the completion of the project, I was listened to and kept informed of any and all developments. Some materials were delayed from the manufacturer due to a Pandemic-related backup. Despite that setback - which they had no control over - everyone at Beantown went above and beyond to get their hands on the needed materials at the first possible opportunity so my project could be completed.

I hired Beantown Home Improvement this past spring after meeting with Jim Delprete, the owner of the company. I was impressed with the depth of experience, willingness to meet my specific needs and the quality of the products that the company installs. Our project included re-siding major portions of my home and replacement of 8 old replacement windows with new construction vinyl windows. Our experience overall was excellent, even with the recent supply challenges, which caused a few delays. Both the window and siding crews were highly skilled, personable and polite. We recently had our back deck and front porch redone by Beantown. We had several quotes done for the work and Jim took the time to explain how they would complete the work, showed samples and took detailed measurements and notes. When it came time for the work his crew showed that same level of detail in their work. The finished product came out great and process was easy as well. Everyone was professional and friendly. I want to thank Jim at Beantown and his dedicated crew for a great job re-siding the house my great grandfather built. It looks fantastic! The crew arrived early each morning and worked diligently as a team till dark. The yard was cleaned up each night and all the materials were neatly stored under tarps. When we discovered original fancy woodwork under the bay window, I discussed recreation of it with Jim and she said they could do it with a little extra time and cost which was very reasonable. It came out fantastic and it warms my heart when I see it; such a special touch back on the family homestead

I couldn't be happier with Jim and every member of his crew at at Beantown. We installed James Hardie siding on our house and they did a fantastic job. The crew came early, stayed late, were extremely polite and respectful, and left everything just how they found it. Jim was upfront and fair with pricing, and even kept our rate locked in despite multiple price increases for supplies. The work and materials are top notch. You won't be disappointed!

We recently contracted with Beantown for brand new siding, gutters, and window replacement. From the start, we were assured and confident that Jim was the right guy for the job. Unlike other companies from whom we got a quote, he personally came out and assessed our property (unlike a general salesperson) gave us advice and recommendations based on his knowledge and experience with transparency to pricing and options. Jim was responsive when we emailed him with questions, and was proactive in communicating next steps and expectations. When it came time for start of the work there were no surprises

We hired Beantown H-I to do a bunch of work at our home in Plymouth. They installed a rubber roof on half of our home, removed a chimney and repaired the hole left by the chimney in the asphalt shingle roof, some exterior siding repair, and replaced two exterior doors.
All of the crew that worked at our house were polite and professional. The site was always cleaned up at the end of the day / job and both the owner Jim and the roofing "foreman" Eli were great to work with and responsive to any questions or concerns we had.

From start to finish they were absolutely professional. Elias explained the entire process, what goes into a roof, what we were paying for and why. This information really helped when understanding the estimate which was itemized and VERY reasonable. When the work started, Beantown helped us to protect our landscaping, and made sure our neighbors were not affected. Our roofing job was complex, and took two days, although most jobs can be completed in a single day. We were pleased at how neat and clean Beantown kept the jobsite, especially after the job was done. Even when the dumpster was removed
