Austin Design
Located in Brattleboro, Vermont, Austin Design is an architecture firm comprised of highly empathetic listeners, thinkers and doers. We strive to make every project a destination and to leave the world better than we found it. A pro-bono project on the north end of Brattleboro's Putney Road, This was a chance for us to engage the community with functional public art.

Seventy acres with excellent local access, we began the task of designing a brewery to accommodate a retail visitor's center to host the throngs of beer enthusiasts. At Austin Design we strive to create space where people can come together to enjoy life. Whether it be a brewery taproom, luxury custom home, community building or a hospitality destination, we take the time to understand your visions and make them a reality.

Together, we can design a space that meets your unique needs, that's sustainable and highly efficient. With our confidence and extensive experience, we will guide you through a process that leads you to a realization of your vision.
Services
We are a firm on a mission to bring our clients' visions to vibrant life, to create space and place that both reflects and drives our clients' sense of purpose. I enjoy spending time with my wife and family, spend time in the natural and built environment, and be grateful for all that I have in life.
Whether your project is big or small, commercial or residential, urban or rural, we want to hear from you. Our empathetic approach allows us to get to know you on a personal level, so we can fully understand your project. We build custom affordable luxury homes, housing communities, new property additions and full renovations that are sustainable and memorable.
The Humble Pallet is a unit of measure we use to ensure efficiency within the craft brewery production space. What's important in a brewery is to make it durable, manageable and a sustainable operation. This helps support and heal the environment. This is good for us all. We measure production and storage space by the movement of large quantities of raw materials, most of which arrive on pallets.
I want each project to help heal the environment and potentially be a net energy provider. What's important in any residential home project is to make it durable, sustainable, and a memorable destination for your family and friends. Home is where life happens. It's your space for relaxing in comfort, entertaining and expressing your creativity.
I want each project to help heal the environment and potentially be a net energy provider. What's important to a sustainable community center is for us to design it to be durable and good for the environment - this helps us all. Yes, a community is a place on a map, however we believe it is more about the people who make up the community.
