Sunland Asphalt & Construction, Inc. specializes in the installation of underground wet utilities includes pipe and other structures for the conveyance of water, sewage, gas, electricity, etc. Led by a team of experts, Sunland has the state-of-the-art equipment to provide underground services including potable and reclaimed waterline, gravity sanitary sewer line/force main, and storm drain.
When an asphalt pavement's deficiencies are primarily surface distresses, milling (also known as cold planning) may offer an effective solution. Asphalt milling is the process of removing part of the surface to a desired depth to place a new layer of hot mix asphalt, leveling and smoothing the surface.

Had a bad experience with another asphalt company. Craig Pratt showed extortionary customer service I did not experience from the other guys. He went above and beyond to take care of a unsatisfactory job that he was not originally involved with. Thank you Craig and Sunland for doing fantastic seal coat redo at my business parking lot. It looks great!

They work quickly and out roads look great. However, when they moved to pave the roads in other neighborhoods in our area,, they left an outhouse in the alley behind our house and it has been there for 3 weeks now without being cleaned out. It's getting hot and the contents of that outhouse stinks so bad. We can't enjoy being out in our backyard. I tried calling them. But no one answers the phone. I left a couple of messages, but do not have any faith that they will respond or comply by removing the outhouse. If it's not out of here soon, I'm going to have to call the health department. God it

This company has been around for a while and is a good stable work environment. Everyone here is very friendly and the management here is very supportive. There are community projects to be involved in and employee input is valued. Definitely one of those places that you want to get up and go to work for everyday. The pay is good. The benefits are… good; medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, 401K and tuition reimbursement available. This company seems to really care about their employees. I would recommend working here to any of my friends.

Worst asphalt company ever. They have shut down a whole neighborhood, we never know how to get into our home since all the streets are closed with no signs for a detour. No staff to warn us that we are going the wrong way. Staff that just stands around with nothing getting done, just chatting. The least they can do is communicate with the homeowners while they are just standing around. Took them 3 days to pave half of one road. Talk about milking the contract.

After paving the streets in Desert Hills lll, a large stain from this company's equipment was left on our driveway. After months of wrangling, a representative named Duane came out and basically said that the stain was not caused by his equipment. Sorry, bub....the stain was left on the day of your paving, as we were not allowed to drive the street! Subsequently, he sent some clown out who did a half-assed pressure washer "appearance", but actually missed the stain itself. More to come....

Sunland Asphalt has been contracted to fix a few of the roads in my small town. Yesterday evening a crew was heading to their hotel (I assume) and they were driving down my street. A small plastic bag flew out of their truck. No biggie. The driver stopped the huge truck full of guys and went and picked up the small piece of trash. I was super impressed. It may not seem like much, but it was huge to me. Thank you for fixing our roads and helping to keep our community beautiful!

Just awful quality. We live near Speedway and Kolb and this company just finished "paving" our streets which consisted of tar, rocks, more tar and then more rocks, which were then compressed together to make a "road." It's garbage! The tar is still "wet" in many areas resulting in tar on vehicles, shoes, etc. The big, trash trucks are tearing it up like it's something made out of Mexico. They need to make this right, it's the stinking 21st century...LEARN HOW TO PAVE A ROAD!!

I want to thank Doug DeClusin and Sunland Asphalt for all they do to give back to the community. I run a charity, Lead Guitar, that provides free music classes in low-income schools. Sunland supports six of our in-school programs in Phoenix that serve 550 kids with daily music lessons. Thank you Sunland!
