We strive to protect our local ecosystem and watersheds by using organic fertilizers, and very minimal plant based pesticides and herbicides. Invasive plants can be eradicated with persistent manual labor, which we offer. Many diseases can be cured by maintaining overall plant health. We begin with a free one-hour in-home consultation with one of our designers.
Client had a yard with juniper and a sloping lawn that was difficult to mow. We removed all of the lawn as well as junipers and created a level garden space with a stone retaining wall. Widened and evened gaps in existing flagstone walkway so that a ground cover could be established and weeding would not be so difficult.

Owner Dan Lundquist has been a Seattle garden designer and hugger of trees since 1999. He started Nurtured Earth Gardens in 2004 to provide a holistic approach to gardening and landscaping in the Northwest. His creative approach to design and his attention to detail define Nurtured Earth Gardens as one of the best landscapers in Seattle.
