I hired Action Yard and Tree Service to come out and weed/spray emergent down on my yard. They were to also remove agave plants from my yard and trim my trees and bushes. They failed to spray the emergent. When I questioned this after receiving my invoice they pointed out that the estimator wrote down only 'weeding' on the invoice. Therefore, they didn't spray and wouldn't spray unless i paid them 25% more money.
This is deceptive and absolutely unacceptable. Do not use this company. They are going to split hairs with you in order to try and empty your wallet.

To make a long story short, they seem to have trouble with fully completing jobs and, worst of all, they showed up in the morning to finish the job when I had specifically said no mornings. They said they would follow up to make another appointment but then ended up just showing up un-announced.
These people have terrible communication skills and don't really appear to be able to follow directions. I am not paying good money for them to trim the tree how they feel like it.

I can only speak to the service person I got and this one experience.
Armando at Action Yard and Tree.
He came out just to give an estimate.
He was low-level hostile to begin with...in my opinion.
When he yelled at me I had to ask him to stop, take a step back and please be careful of his tone. No apology.. he just pretended I didn't say anything.
I am a senior single woman and have seen my share of misogyny. I have taken classes on how to deal with difficult people so I was respectful and affirming the rest of the visit. His tone came down some.
In my opinion, he maintained a posture of

Highest of recommendations to the entire team at Action Yard and Tree Service. Not only did they give us a very quick and extremely reasonable bid, they worked with us to find the best solution for our problem both in price and construction. The work was completed very fast, very clean and very well done. The scheduling, communication, work, follow up was all incredibly great. We've already recommended them to our neighbours who are equally pleased and we are planning more work with them in the future.

Despite a difficult job, my experience with Action Yard and Tree Services was excellent. A prompt quote, competitive price, stellar customer service, a job completed quickly, safely and exactly as described. Clean up was meticulous and immaculate. Couldn't have asked for anything more!. They carried out physically dangerous and difficult work with great efficiency, skill and professionalism. I highly recommend these guys at Action Yard and Tree Services.

Action Yard and Tree Services are one of the most professionals and well run landscapers. For years they have been landscaping my home as well as many of my neighbours homes. I reached out and within 24 hours got a response from Kyle , one of their outdoor living specialists, about a giant donations of wood chips they could donate. Overall, a very well run, organized and professional organization who should be first on your list to do your job!

Hardworking and professional! After unexpectedly having large tree branches come down after a storm nearly missing our home - Action Yard and Tree Services crew saved the day! Can't say enough about the terrific work these folks did for me. They took a ruin of a backyard and made it a wonderful space, so much more than my expectations. They provided me with a reasonable quote last week and were out today to move the small Saguaro that someone planted too close to the front entryway. They took great care during the operation and we are very pleased with the result. The cactus now looks like it was meant to be where it is, and the original location was repaired so well you would never know that it had been there.
