We just built a home in the Blackstone addition in West Wichita (2019)
I would not recommend this builder. There are better choices for the amount of money spent.
I have lived in other Klausmeyer houses, so I knew what to expect. But, I was not expecting this....
Poor quality and communication is the norm. You can call and complain, but nothing is done. Complaints are ignored.
The attention to detail is not there. Drywall finish poor, painting interior poor, concrete finish is terrible, seams in ceilings, scratches in cabinets, floors damaged, exterior brick does not match, just the overall

They build beautiful homes. I don’t necessarily recommend renting one of their homes under them. Communication is arduous and scattered. Once you can get their attention and/or appropriate understanding, they take care of business well...it’s just getting from that Point A to Point B that’s tricky. They would benefit from careful attentions paid to communications channels and messages.

We have been in our Klausmeyer for 6 years now. We love our home and our neighborhood. We had a couple carpet and window issues in the first year and Klausmeyer fixed both issues no questions asked. They replaced my master bedroom carpet for free and replaced two window panes.
My in laws built a 400,000 dollar home by another builder and has had more nail pops, drywall cracks, amoung other issues than my Klausmeyer home.
Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and experience with Klausmeyer homes. Not to mention the increase in my property value over the last 6 years! I would build another

I purchased a spec house from Klausmeyer in May 2008 and thought I was getting a great deal on a well-built house. Not even 6 months later, the caulking around the shower in the master bathroom started cracking, and the gap increased to 1/4". I called the builder to have them repair the damage, so they came out and re-caulked around the shower. The cracks came back a few weeks later, which led me to get a second opinion about the structural integrity of the shower.
