My door broke because a relative who was house sitting accidentally closed the door on a vehicle. I had recently used another company to install a new opener and they did not adjust the tension. While it didn't damage the vehicle, it broke the door. I called the original company, they quoted $2400.00 for a new door, and $550.00 to just fix it, but parts are 4-5 months out. I know NOTHING about garage door repairs, but this just seemed repairable. Then we saw a NextDoor recommendation that Dave can fix all doors.

After having two other companies work on the 14’ tall shop doors and tell us they need to be replaced, Dave was the only one who said yes I can fix those and did. Dave was polite, timely, and very knowledgeable. He was able to repair a damaged door and adjust tracks, shorten chains so that our doors function perfectly. We are very happy with the service provided!!

On Saturday night I noticed that the hardware mounted to the wall holding everything for my garage door motor up had broken and was being held up by one little bolt. There was no way I could use my door more than a few more times before the whole thing came out of the wall. I called Dave and he answered on the second ring and was out first thing the next morning. He not only fixed the problem but made sure it was much more secure than when it was originally installed. He also tuned up several other things that were needed. He was very knowledgeable and super nice! I was also pleasantly surprised

Just in time for Christmas an aluminum flagpole fell down in the path of the garage door and jammed it as the door was closing. The wound up cable slacked and came off the spool on one side of the door and thus discombobulated the entire door. I am semi handy, but the door looked damaged to me and I didn't want any part of the cable or the wound up spring on the retention pole. I called three door repair companies, was told two weeks by the major name brand door company, and left two messages on the other two. I figured it was going to be until after the holidays before anyone could come out. So

I had to call around for an emergency service on a Saturday for our garage door. Not only was Dave the only one who answered but he was out to our house extremely quick, super helpful and had the problem solved in 10-15 minutes. This company was extremely helpful. They called before they came and were even early. The gentlemen who worked on our garage were respectful and professional. Not only were they able to troubleshoot our chronic problem they were able to fix it at a VERY reasonable price. We are over the moon thrilled we finally called to get this fixed and would and will recommend them to anyone needing a garage door attitude adjustment!

I would recommend them to anyone! Our garage door would not close apparently a spring broke Dave the owner came out same day to get it closed for us. He came back with parts a couple hours later and made repairs that not only fixed the problem but improved the door, it is much quieter now! He is priced well, knowledgeable, gave my husband tips on how to keep the door running smoothly and prevent future breakdowns. He seems like a very honest guy who takes pride in what he does and makes sure the job is done right!

Dave from Lake City Overhead door responded to my phone call by asking me questions to decide how urgent my issue was. We agreed on a plan for him to come the next day to check out my overhead door. He arrived promptly after calling ahead of time as he promised. He educated me about how my overhead door functions as well as the necessary annual maintenance to keep it running smoothly. AND he fixed my issue :-)
