Services
Our solar systems come with a 10-year penetration warranty if your roof is in good condition. In fact, the only time we can't install solar on a roof is if that roof is structurally unsound. We inspect your roof before you go solar. If there are problems, we'll notify you. If you want to fix them, we can often get the roof work you want financed along with your solar.
All of our solar installations can be installed with a Energy Storage System. These systems can be added with your new solar system installation or retrofitted years later. Energy Storage Systems are not always financially feasible so we recommend that you meet with one of our Xperts to discuss if adding one is a good fit for you and your family.

Sticking to the theme of other reviews I received amazing service at the beginning, had my panels up within weeks of signing but it's been a nightmare since. Panels were installed in October and per the city inspection were done incorrectly and would eventually burn out my panel. Instead of fixing it per the city instructions they took over a month to "update paperwork" and then failed another inspection because nothing was done. Now, many calls and "I am going to open a ticket" responses later I still do not have a date that my panel will be fixed, I have NEVER received

Purchased this system back in June of 2021, install was scheduled right away and performed in a quick fashion. No real issues on the front end, i even expected some delays in getting the city and PGE to sign off on the project due to what is happening with covid. The issues I had primarily existed in post install support and functionality of the system. There were numerous unannounced and unplanned/unexpected visits related to the system after I called to find out if the system was truly active and up and running. It's now been 10 months since I signed with SolarXperts (Freedom Forever), it took them 9 months to actually install the panels, and now, over a month later and they have not even gotten it inspected. I've called so many times, and while they're nice enough, you never actually ever get any progress. They are so slow I wished I had gone with someone else. They promised, in fact to differentiate themselves from competitors, it would be operational by Summer (when I signed in January).
So we still don't have solar, now over 10 months later. Run, don't walk from this

If you find yourself, among these so called Xperts, beware cause the only thing they are good at is calculating how much commission you can make and at later stage how to price contracts to increase your own personal comission while selling people the big smoke of green energy at premium prices (from honest hard working people), I like to think of such companies as leeches to the society because the company will try to claim that they strongly prohibit such practices when in fact that's what they are built on, not only this, they will make you promises at the very first day

Use another solar company. These guys are crooks. I was quoted 23k for a 12 solar panel system. Which was way to much for the amount of energy used. And then was called a few days after I was given the quote saying they “ran out” of the solar panels I was quoted with but luckily they had just gotten in more expensive solar panels that would add 3k onto my quote. So now I’d be paying 26k for solar. Long story short I ended up getting another quote from a company and it was 15k cheaper than the one from these guys. Just purchased solar for 8k. Hopefully this helps someone not waste their money

Absolutely horrible. I’ve had my solar panels installed in April, it is now September and still not operating. And the worst part is I’ve been charged 3 monthly payments now for the panels and they won’t respond for the reimbursement. I’m stuck paying my pge electrical along with my monthly solar payment which shouldn’t have been in effect until everything was working.

SOLARXPERTS has been a disaster from beginning to end. First they do not do the roofing job, they sub contracted to a roofer who is 60 miles away from Santa Rosa instead of using a local roofer.
The roofer that they hired did the cleanup of the the roof debris and nails using a leaf blower. Which is pointless as that just blew the debris all over my plants. It took me days to cleanup the yard. They were going to try and take a shortcut on what would have been a code violation of using the wrong size plywood on the roof. We managed to call the city inspector who then made them do it correctly

I've been looking into solar on and off for four years, almost more forward with a couple of companies but at the end of the day I wasn't fully enticed. My problem is I'm very sensitive about who does the work on my house and the quality of the work, I've had too many bad experienced with contractors and wanted to do my due diligence in my research.

I had a really great experience from initial contact to operating status from PG&E. Justin was an excellent point of contact, was very knowledgable, and super helpful on a few inevitable snags that came up (not their fault). I was extremely impressed with the competence and professionalism of all the technicians that came to our house. The workmanship of everything is top notch, and everyone was willing to take time to answer any questions I had. We haven't really had the opportunity yet to see the system in action during a power failure, but I'm guessing PG&E is going to have another bad summer

I never did get a copy of the contract because the next step was signing an application with their financing company. They tried to make me do that and promised

I desperately needed a new roof and already had an installed solar electric and hot water system, which was years old. Several roofers refused outright to install a new roof as they didn't want to deal with taking down the solar system and reinstalling it or working with another company to do that.
