The sales guy we met with was new but let me tell you out of the 8 other companies we met with he was the best. The problem with this company is either with the sales manager or the owner. They came back with a ridiculous price that was EASILY DOUBLE than ALL other 8 companies we spoke with. All the other companies we got quotes from for the SAME type of Panels and microinverters were an average of $22,000 just to give you an idea. When I mentioned this, they cut there price ALMOST in half but still thousands more. I thanked them and went on my way. A few days later I get a call from them saying

At the beginning of this summer (2018) I decided to bit the bullet and invest in residential solar. I reviewed 4 solar companies, met with 3 and selected Norcal, based essentially on their experience, their reviews, and the products they carry. In selecting the system to use on my house, the sales associate Lea recommended Q cell so far they've been working as promised.

Great experience installing a new home solar system, I would have no hesitation recommending Norcal to other potential customers. During the installation the communicating from the company was excellent: emails were sent to me regularly to let me know where I was in the process as well text messages from the salesmen to make sure no issues were encountered. Phone calls to Norcal were promptly answered and their staff most conversations with Lea were always helpful, polite, and professional at all times.

So i decide to due the solar and new roof thing. These guys were beyond great. From start to finish. There were a few bumps that I ran into trying to get it going like all major construction projects. But they made up for each and every one of them. I even had my main panel not pass inspection and they obtained the permits and replacement to upgrade my main panel to a 210 from the 110 panel not sure on the voltage but panel upgrade with lots new room was nice and they did it FREE. Yes I said FREE. They wanted to make it right and they did. Now they only reason for 4 stars was i mention roof they

Terrible experience. They installed my system without checking to make sure that the transformer could accommodate the system. PG&E says that it is standard protocol for reputable solar companies to check this before installing the system and provide the customer an option to not proceed with the project. They did not notify me of the problem until AFTER they installed my solar and I had paid my bill in full. But, now the system cannot be activated until PG&E upgrades the transformer (>6 months). Beware! The consumer may have to pay PG&E thousands of dollars for a transformer upgrade to get their
