Southern Lawn and Pest was officially formed in 2006. However the owner, Steve Clark, got his start in Tennessee lawn care when he was just 12 years old. We are a small, local business and take a great deal of pride in that. Because we know that our customers have higher expectations from us, and we thrive on the challenge of exceeding those demands.

Our goal is to help you get the lawn you've always wanted and to make sure you are treated as a valued customer.
Core aeration is the process of removing small cores of soil 1" to 2" in length from your lawn leaving a small, hollow opening in its place. Aeration is a practice that needs to be done every year. It helps the entire weed control and fertilization program work much better. What happens to the cores?
Grubs are beetle larvae that feed on the roots of grass. Heavy grub infestations can destroy grass roots, causing the affected area to be rolled back like a piece of carpet. Patches of dead or dying turf in the spring and early fall are good indicators of a grub problem. Another good indicator is the presence of skunks, crows, or moles feeding in your lawn.
Soil Testing - Getting your soil tested is the first step toward having a healthy lawn. We can order a soil test and have the results sent directly to you. We will also take the time to explain the soil test results to you and go over any changes that may need to be made in order for your lawn to look its best.

Me and my wife love Southern Lawn and Pest, Inc. We have been using them for almost two years now with no issues. They have a small town feel to them which is another reason why we chose them.
