Beginning in 2005, Colt Simmons began his custom home construction company with the creation of his first home in Mount Airy, N.C. Since then, he has remodeled and built hundreds of custom homes throughout Surry, Stokes, Forsyth, Allegany, Wilkes, Yadkin, Davie, Davidson, Iredell, and Catawba counties in North Carolina, and Carroll, Grayson, Patrick, and Wythe counties in Virginia.

I couldn't find a house plan that I liked, so I drew a basic sketch of what I had in mind and took it to Colt Simmons. He looked at my sketch, drew the floor plan, and built me a beautiful home. His crew was professional, courteous, and kept the work site clean. The quality is second to none. My husband and I are very happy with our new home and with the quality and service we received from Colt Simmons Construction. I highly recommend Colt Simmons Construction for anyone looking to build a new home.

Our family decided to build a pool, pool house and extend an exterior porch area, including a large screened porch and chose Colt Simmons Construction LLC. We realized this was an out of the box project and not the typical stick-built house build. Colt was in for the challenge. We could not have been more pleased in the craftsmanship and beauty of the finished product. It's more than we ever imagined. The detail of their work, professionalism and knowledge was excellent. I would recommend Colt's company to anyone. We LOVE our pool and porch!!

We received a quote from this company for a home addition. We agreed with the pricing and the owner provided us with a contract to review. We reviewed that contract, and he made minor revisions to the wording and sent back to us to sign. We signed the contract and scanned it to back to him. We were told he would start in September of last year, but he never showed up. He would make a few excuses over the next few months, until he ran out of them. He stopped responding to calls, texts and emails and even ignored a certified letter that we sent to his business. As a way to get out of the very contract
