We have had a stellar experience with Appliance Service Station. I see a lot of mixed reviews here so to be more specific, I want to give a shout out to John for his refreshing competence. He really knows his way around the Bluestar Oven. He is very pleasant, hard working and conscientious of keeping your space neat. We had him out to repair an oven knob that was actually broken by another repairman from another company that we engaged with to install an oven door. I had business with Appliance Service Station to fix my Bosch ventilator in April. The technician found the problem quickly with less than 20mins and said the part needs to be replaced. Told us to wait till mid July since the part needed to be shipped over from Germany. Until here it was ok.

Having had so many bad experiences with appliance repair services, with missed appointments, unfamiliarity with the appliance, hidden fees, etc. I live in fear of picking up the phone when one breaks.
What a breath of fresh air these folks are.
I have a Fisher & Paykal fridge that sprang a leak. I'm pretty mechanically adept (old Navy submariner) and beat my head against the wall trying to find it. I looked around for service, calling several places (including the dealer that sold it to me) and couldn't get straight answers, or referrals to outfits that "fix anything."
What a breath of fresh air these folks are.

The service technician, Don, was really incredible. He came to the door with a mask, when expected, and was very professional and fully prepared. He did a difficult job in just a few minutes, something that would have taken me half a day and a lot of aggravation, and even fixed things that we didn't know were wrong (mounting hardware on the dishwasher). The charges were very reasonable and it made me feel pretty smart for calling Appliance Service Station (they were recommended by Albert Lea, where we bought the dishwasher). Our Fisher & Paykel fridge has been beeping at us for awhile. Scott arrived on time, masked, and fixed the issue quickly. This was a fairly complex repair to the sensor wiring in the flap of one of the doors. He was incredibly professional and knowledgeable on our too-smart-for-its-own-good fridge. The repair cost was less than I anticipated and we're enjoying a beep free fridge now. The lead time for the repair appointment was lengthy - don't blame the company, right now people are choosing to repair rather than replace appliances during the pandemic due to cost.

Our Blue Star oven was not heating properly and the gas burners were doing some mysterious things that didn't seem safe. My Bosh dishwasher, installed in October 2019, stopped working. It was out of warranty, so I called Lowe's because I had purchased their extended warranty . After almost two hours on hold over several calls to different Lowe's departments, they said they couldn't find somebody to repair it. So, they sent me an email saying that they would give me a merchandise card for the dishwasher plus tax. They WOULDN'T REFUND WHAT I PAID FOR A WORTHLESS extended warranty or reimburse me for the repair cost(fine print in their warranty).

A few months ago, our dishwasher (a typical kitchen built-in Bosch) stopped draining properly. It wasn't overflowing onto the floor, but the water was always right up to the seals around the bottom, and we had some doubts about whether it was cleaning things properly. I did some research about do-it-yourself repairs, diagnosed the drain blockage, and even managed to get some gunk out of the drain. But it still didn't drain properly.

Incredibly disappointed by our experience with Appliance Service Station. Technician had no technical knowledge of our Viking Range, had to call them twice for advice. $200 later and our range is still broken. Appliance Service Station has made no effort to refund our money. I strongly suggest avoiding them as we discovered it was a waste of time and money.

Our SubZero refrigerator stopped working after I cleaned it one day. We called another service company to take a look at it. They told me it was broken and the fact that it died while I was cleaning it was a coincidence. They gave me an estimate of $1600 to fix the problem. I called Appliance Service Station for a second opinion. Don came out to take a look. He arrived on time and was able to figure out that during my cleaning I had accidentally put the refrigerator in "showroom mode", which just means all the lights work but the refrigerator doesn't get cold. The team that came to my house were quick, efficient and fantastic! I highly recommend them. They worked on my Viking Oven as well as my Bosch Washer and Dryer!
They explained what needed to be fixed and what may be a possible problem in the future, for example; i may need hinges on my stove. He gave me the option to add this on, but let me know that we had a while, so we waited. They are very upfront and honest.
The office staff is wonderful too, I called and got an appointment that fit my schedule right away. I will be a customer for life.
