We spoke to Michael he was able to schedule us with an energy evaluation, now our house is going to be able to reduce our energy usage. And we might be able to qualify for clean renewable energy and save a ton of money on our electric bill!!! I’m really hoping this company can qualify us, fingers crossed!!!

We interviewed 3 solar companies. SunRun, Fusion and Nerd Power in that order. When Karl Goodman sat down at our kitchen table it was a game changer. If you want to understand the process, the technology and never have a stressful moment during the whole process. No matter what your needs are like in our case we needed a new AC etc..Karl Goodman and Nerd Power is where you should invest.

This company drags things out forever! At first I was satisfied but throughout the process they continue to delay and delay. Today I was supposed to have my final inspection with the city after almost 6 months and shocker the company forgot to send someone out!!! So now delayed again to reschedule with the city who is backed up a month!! Do not use this company!!!!

I would strongly recommend Nerd Power to anyone considering going solar. I received a few quotes from different solar companies and they had the best warranty and interest rates. Sam was very knowledgeable and helped me throughout the entire process. The panel installers were also experts and really nice. They handled everything and the installation only took a day.

I recently decided to go solar and NERD power did such an amazing job. Brandon De La Torre handled our project super well, I was impressed at how knowledgeable and genuine he was. I had so many questions to begin with and he answered all of them. The install team was extremely polite and quick to get our job done. My experience with Nerd Power started great with Liz, but went downhill after that. The company had to repeatedly come out for the site visits to take pictures because they forgot to or had an employee that was not meeting standards. Good on the company for removing those that do not perform well, but to have to meet the company 5 times for pictures of my house is extremely inconvenient. Not to mention that one time, they blamed me because there were dogs that 'prevented' them from getting pictures when I was there and the dogs were out of the way.

Samuel Perruccio from Nerd Power (714) 907-3807, has been a great salesman who was not aggressive to push the sale of the solar panels. He provided us with specific details and assured us after he answered a lot of questions before, during, and after the purchase of the panels. He even came over to see the progress and completion of the installation. The crew that installed the panels worked diligently and mastered a great installation. They were very friendly and also answered our questions.

Too expensive, no customer service, no options for the install, and no idea what I have on my roof. For the money spent I could've gotten a tesla power wall.
I'm disappointed. I know the power inverter has wifi access but I don't know how to access it. Also, the power inverter doesn't support battery backup. Something I would've wanted if I had just been asked. I have no idea if the system is performing as it should.
Horrible service. They cut holes in the roof to crawl around my attic rather than knock on my door while I was home.

I would have given Nerd Power 4 stars but the wrap-up of my install has left such a bad taste in my mouth, I am completely over them at this point. As per other reviews, their lack of responsiveness is a SERIOUS issue and a big factor in why I am dropping them down to two stars.
I am based in Tucson while Nerd Power has its HQ in Phoenix- this caused most things to be scheduled far out because each step required that their team drive down 2 hours. If I had really understood how small their Tucson presence actually was, I likely would have never hired them. I also found I would need to check in

The two gentlemen first came to my home mentioned the government programs available to help pay for these changes, Karl came to my home the next week and we discussed some different options for about an hour. Karl also mentioned these state programs that would help with the cost but did not say exactly what they were. We scheduled another meeting, I did some quick googling about these supposed government programs and found out quick I didn't qualify. I loved that the pricing options for the installation of the new roof and solar panels plus an upgrade on our HVAC to an AC unit was affordable and rolled into one payment plan. However, after nearly six months, we are STILL waiting to hear back from the HVAC contractor to start that portion of the project. Having started this process in early November, we thought the HVAC would be done long before the end of April. We are now approaching the warm season in Tucson, AZ and still no word on this. I've called multiple times to check on this and rarely get a call back. Communication with this

I got my panels over a year ago and I still have the same complaints. If the salesman had more knowledge I would have known not to go with this company. They didn't give me the panels needed for a 3 bedroom home but instead gave me enough for a two bedroom and said that if we sell the new owners will have to get more for themselves. There are other companies out there that will help

I would have initially rated this company and my experience with them as five starts, however the post-install support has been excruciatingly disappointing.
The process started over a year ago when I first purchased my home. Getting solar installed was at the top of my list and I received quotes from a few companies but due to some circumstances didn't move forward. I was contacted again by NERD Power in late June and I decided to move forward.
