Like many entrepreneurial businesses, Lifetime began as a glint in the eye of our founder James Romanelli. Besides having a lifetime love affair with wood, Jim always recognized that he could do projects better, faster and with more value than anyone else. To this end, Jim set out to educate himself 25 years ago, literally digging holes and ditches.
Everything about Lifetime can be experienced in one deep inhale when you enter our doors. It's the fresh sweet, you pungent smell of sawdust. We can't speak for you, but that's what gets our blood pumping. So the fact that we can experience all that wonderful sawdust aroma in our newly expanded 00,000 square foot facility on the Deer Park/Bay Shore border of the historic South Shore of Long Island, is frankly gravy for us.
Architectural Drafting - Whether you are utilizing the services of a professional designer or architect or creating your environment yourself, when it comes to custom woodwork we develop our own drawings and specifications to ensure a marriage between your vision and the end result. There are so many choices of types of woods, grades of lumber and finishing techniques that affect woods in different ways.
King StarBoard is known for its ability to endure the constant punishment of harsh outdoor conditions. It will not rust, delaminate or rot when exposed to UV, humidity or water. It is one of our most scratch-resistant polymers, making it an excellent construction material for cabinetry, furniture and architectural applications.
Lifetime's work is top notch and frequently featured in my brochures. In 2011 our Pratt Pavilion project in Glen Cove won an AIA award, featuring Lifetime's millwork. First started with Lifetime in 1998. They have done work in three of our facilities over the years. Quality work and installation, professional staff and management.
