I would have never used Friendly knowing what I know now. They claim their prices are high because they have the best service and best equipment, which is untrue. Friendly installed our furnace, AC, water heater, and water softener…every single one of which has had issues due to incorrect installation, installer error, and shoddy work. They have repeatedly dropped the ball, miscommunicated, installed equipment incorrectly, not kept their promises, and their lack of care has damaged our property (which they promised to reimburse us for but decided they could only cover 1/3 of the cost). FHS was the 4th company we worked with to repair our Boiler and radiant heating system. They were great with communication, honest and knew what they were doing. We are happy to find a company we can depend on. Our complex system is working better than ever. As far as pricing goes, we spent a lot... but the job is done and that's just how it goes sometimes as a home owner. We highly recommend hiring FHS.

It is well known that this industry if full of companies that price gouge customers. This company is no different, but I guess at least they do it with a smile on their face. Estimate was almost $1000 for less than $100 parts and approx 1 hr VERY basic labor. I understand companies have overhead but $900 for 1 hr basic labor?! Disgusting!!

Our furnace was cracked. Jacob,Dallas and Austin and Jeff put a new one in for us. They did a great job got at it right away. Although the job was effectively done, the customer service over the phone was poor.
We wanted our air conditioner fixed as soon as possible, so I turned to Yelp and ended up here. I've seen their services, but they take an eternity to answer the phone. They aren't even very kind or pleasant, plus they are costly! Giving two stars for your efforts. Thanks.

Honestly, I have never used this company because every time I call them they say it will cost money just to have them take a look at issues. When on Yelp it gives my information to them under the free estimates category. Why would it be advertised if estimates are not in fact free. Weird in my opinion.

We called in on Wednesday to see about getting a 240 volt 40 amp outlet added. It's Friday now, at 3:30pm, and they're finishing up installation. Absolutely recommend them! We ended up paying $560 for the work, which felt more than fair. We worked with Jeremy Richards, he was phenomenal and went above and beyond. :)

When my AC stopped working I contacted Friendly Home Services to get an technician out, after hours at a cost of $149. They told me that not only was there a huge refrigerant leak that would have cost 3k to fix, but also that my furnace was cracked and that I should replace them both for 12k.
The next day I got a different tech out from a different company, who fixed the issue for $60 and got it back up and running in under 10 minutes.

I contacted Friendly Home Services to repair my air conditioner. They fixed the air conditioner at a reasonable cost but then gave me a litany of reasons why I needed to replace it. Basically, they said the repair would likely not hold. Additionally, they said I should replace the furnace - which is working - at the same time as the AC. Based on what they said, I asked a few questions about further repair to the AC to help ensure the current repair would last. Each time I asked a question, it was met with the EXACT SAME response: "you could do that repair, but it would cost a thousand dollars

1st appointment scheduled with them was great. They were on time and did a good job. Had to schedule another appointment for hydro jetting my lateral line. Setup the appointment for the next day. They never showed. Called them and they apologized for the miscommunication. Scheduled for the first appointment the next day. No show. Called them and they said it was the second appointment even though I had confirmation of 9 AM appointment. So they sent a tech ASAP after missing

The Bad. . .they refused to discuss cost or houry rates on the phone when I called (I should have hung up at that point!), when they finally arrived, they wanted to charge me $235 for a 15 minute job (over $900/hr. . . not bad!). They repeatedly tried to upsell me on services that I didn't need or want.
If I didn't 'manage the technician' and just have him fix what needed fixing, he would have created a $1000+ bill!
Are they good at plumbing? Perhaps. But

We purchased an HVAC system last summer. The installation went well, and the employees are all friendly. Although there have been a couple of hiccups with the equipment (nothing major), they came out promptly and were able to address the issues right away. And they did It with a smile. We had a pretty catastrophic failure of our sewer line at our house. The crew at friendly home services were outstanding! My options were explained and communication was great. The project was expensive, but I did some research and the pricing was fair and appropriate for as big of a project as this. They were able to get the extensive project started immediately and our downtime was nominal given the extensive work needed. Looking for an AC repair as mine has gone out in 95 degree weather with a 10 month old baby at home; another company who didn't have any openings actually referred me to these guys. It says they are 24/7 so I thought "awesome!". When I call, I get some answering service that took my info & said they'll page the on call person & they'll call me very soon.
It's now been over 4 hours, my brother already went to the store & grabbed a window unit & helped me put it in for now so my son doesn't overheat & I still haven't even gotten a call

I'm updating my review from 4 stars to 1 star. I feel like I've just been "had". We recently had Friendly Plumber back out because we noticed our A/C was not actually cooling the air. Whoever the company sent out this time was either just focused on selling us a new A/C unit or wanted to cheat us out of the most money he could.
We were told there was a leak, our coolant was empty and the system was not holding pressure. Then we were told that there was not a way they could locate said leak without replacing essentially every internal part of the unit, including the coils.

I have been dealing with these guys for over a year now. I can see from other peoples comments that I am not the only person they have grossly overcharged. they also didn't finish the job. I have been trying to contact them and they repeatedly ignore me. they claim a 100% guarantee (look at the side of there fancy trucks) but they don't back it up. very unhappy with them and will never recommend them to anybody I like.
