NJ Local Moving completed a move from us in December. We moved from Morris County to Union County. Dimitri was kind and straightforward handling emails and phone calls - giving us a quote and setting up our move. The movers arrived on time and went the extra mile to make sure our furniture arrived safe and sound. The movers (Michael [Marv] and Todd) did a fantastic job packing, moving, and unloading the furniture, asking me questions to make sure their work was on point. So glad we went with NJ Local Moving company. The crew arrived and within an Hour they moved a 3 bed 2.5 bath townhome. Took less than 3 hours to get everything moved. Super accommodating and considerate with our 4 kids home.

Used them a second time to move from our South Orange apartment to our house in Fair Haven. Coincidentally had most of the same guys who were once again extremely friendly, quick (yet careful) and made the process a breeze. In an industry that I imagine has a lot of turnover, it reflects really well on this company that they're able to keep moving teams together. While I don't plan to move again for many years, I'd use them again without hesitation.

NJ Local Moving helped us with a move from Morris County to Somerset County. They arrived promptly and worked hard to move all of our furniture and belongings. This included our piano which they needed to carefully bring down the stairs and then onto the truck. All furniture they dismantled and wrapped in thick blankets, and on the other end put back together professionally. Michael, Dimitri and their team were very friendly and easy to communicate with, especially when telling them where they things go. One gentleman even helped us break apart and dispose of a box spring that we no longer needed

We moved from oversees a couple of years ago, and we loved the service of the moving company back then. I contacted them this summer for our move, and the price was too much for us. So we decided to try NJ Local Moving, we were moving only 15 miles away. So Dimitri, Michael and their crew were great, with outstanding client service and communication; they were on time at our house on the moving date, they were efficient and careful, well organised and with great attitude, they got everything loaded in a couple of hours. Was able to quickly schedule with Mary mid-month for an end of month move. Moving day Dimitri and (his super friendly and kind) crew arrived right on time to move us out of a 3rd floor walk up, on what ended up being one of the hottest days of a heat wave. They did an amazing job getting everything out safely, packed on the truck, and to the new apartment with care. The whole team really made us feel at ease throughout the moving process, and the instructions to pack everything in cardboard boxes, billing, etc were straight forward and easy. Will use again.

They did an excellent job. The called to give me a time estimate of when they would arrive, and I received an automated text. They arrived right when they said they would, introduced themselves, and were super friendly. We did a quick walk through of everything that was being moved and got right to it. They were so great through the whole thing, took furniture apart that needed it, put it back together at our destination, and with a smile the whole time. Cannot say enough good things about them- it was the most enjoyable move I've ever had. Would not hesitate to use them!

These guys are great! I had a move where I had stuff at a storage unit that needs to be brought back to my apartment and then move from my current apartment to another apartment in the same building. It was a bit crazy but these movers were amazing. They had a great attitude I got the job done without a hitch. I highly recommend them.

If you are looking for the best mover in the Garden State, hire NJ Local Moving. From the first phone call to their office our experience was terrific.
The company was great at communicating with me. Had to move our date due to a snowstorm and the company was quick to respond and re-schedule at my convenience. They are truly top notch. Excellent in fact. The team of 3 men organized the move with such ease and were very nice to work with and professional. They worked quickly, did not waste any time. Wrapped all items well and on the move in side were fantastic too. I give NJ Local Moving

-Efficient I suppose (hence 2 stars not 1)
-did not consistently wear masks
-had difficulty with some of my very basic furniture and were essentially "well, I guess we just leave it" if I couldn't remove it, good thing I was there to assist them in using my $10 tool set...
-truck was too small for my belongings (and I don't have that much stuff)
-were not too helpful re: even moving my furniture around at destination
If you do decide to use them despite this warning, I strongly recommend you call them to discuss precisely how much you will be moving in terms of bulk furniture

They were on time and very efficient with my move, with no damage to any of my things. I was given an estimate, and the final price matched the estimate, with no hidden fees to throw me off. Only thing is I wish I had remembered to get cash, as they do charge a 4% credit card fee. Still, great service and I would use them again.

Found these movers on yelp... and their rating is absolutely justified. Super friendly... very reasonable price wise (in fact they adjusted their estimate upon arrival based on it not being as difficult a move as they anticipated) and were very professional. Found these guys on Yelp and used them last week for my move to Hoboken. They were personable, quick, and went the extra mile for us. They made it worth every penny and on top of that, after getting quotes from 7 moving companies in the area, this was the most affordable. I would definitely use NJ Local Moving again! They answered my quote and all my questions with fast responses. On moving day, I received an automated text message saying they were x minutes away and then received a call to make sure I knew they were on their way. When they got here, Michael, Jerome, and Sharif introduced themselves with smiles and good humor and went straight to work! They made the job look effortless. I just moved my dad from Caldwell, to his new home in Madison, NJ We were very pleased with service we received from each staff member, starting from initial contact over Yelp as well as hard working polite movers. The team of 4 professional movers worked very quickly, load and wrap everything with care. Nothing was damaged during the move. They took care of the floors, walls and all our belongings. I highly recommend NJ Local Moving company from Livingston and I am particularly grateful to Demetrius and his men for making my move as smooth as possible.

Five stars for movers? How is that possible? Thankfully over the years I cannot say I have used that many different services but there was always something wrong. Things not handled correctly. Walls getting dinged. People not showing up on time. Worse yet, people not showing up at all. This, however, was a different experience!

Amazing movers! Don’t waste time looking for other local movers! NJ Local moving company is awesome. We booked NJ local moving because of the great reviews on Yelp. Guess what? We were not disappointed. Getting a moving quote and scheduling a move were totally painless. Thank you guys also for that. On move day the moving crew arrived on time,… actually they showed up even earlier. Moving guys worked well together and were incredibly efficient. They wrapped all furniture, handled each piece of furniture with care. These movers were super polite, fast and most important - affordable
