I had Mitch Phipps from You First Moving come out to my house to write up an estimate for my interstate move. After walking through my house for 15 minutes taking an inventory of all my stuff, Mitch recommended me to a competitor company in Des Moines that was better suited to the needs of my move. Wow. It is rare to find such honesty these days. If you are looking to move I would highly recommend that you give Mitch and the team at You First Moving a call. They are a company you can 100% trust with all of your possessions! I can't commend them strongly enough.

The movers were awesome. They were nice , clean, careful and so polite. They finished in a shorter time than the estimated time so they were VERY fair and adjusted the price. They moved 2 big pieces to different places and never complained. I would highly recommend this company.

They were very professional and great to work with. They asked their junk removal division to come out and get rid of some things at a great price. They even stayed to help out the moving team which made things more efficient and less stressful. I highly recommend the whole team!

I wanted to adopt my movers. The two men could not have been sweeter or kinder and, oh my goodness, so good at what they do. They were fast, yet made not one mistake. Everything was taken out and moved without damage and no wall was hurt either. I was so impressed by them. They moved a room of furniture and 40 boxes down a flight of stairs at my home and then up two really hard sets of stairs at my son’s new apartment. Never even out of breath. These guys were amazing!! I had to reschedule a few times due to closing changes and Mitch was very professional and accommodating.
The 2 movers Chris and Skyler were absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this company for moving. They didn't screw around and it took a lot less time than anticipated. Super happy customer here!

They made a stressful move much less stressful! The crew was quick, polite, and careful. I have several large pieces of antique furniture. I’m always nervous when they get moved but the crew handled everything with extreme care. They even let my curious toddler take a loot at all of our stuff in the truck once it was packed. I would highly recommend You First Moving!! Great prices and great people!

We had Jason and Andrew as our movers today and they were completely unbelievable!
I just cannot say enough praise's for them... extremely polite, respectful and just happy all day long!
They were so careful as they moved our huge pieces of furniture out of the house.... Just so respectful and kind guys!
They were courteous beyond belief... Always watching to make sure they had clearance with the furniture they had in their hands.... Saying excuse me over and over....
We will definitely recommend you all to our friends that need a mover!!
Oh, and I think that Jason needs the day

My wife and I used You First to pack up a full 16-foot rental truck for our cross country move last fall. We had most of our boxes packed prior, but they organized and loaded the truck efficiently and effectively. All of our delicate furniture was padded and we had no damage upon arrival. We would use them again in a heartbeat if we had another home to move!
